They usually do, and it’s gross. Seems like a great way to cause infection.
I am led to believe that Steatosystomas return if you don’t remove the sacs
Removing all of these would have taken Dr. Lee 72 hours, bless her heart
They didn't remove the sacks though, so they can come back.
@@LuckyDinoLove I think Dr Lee's method might make reoccurrance less likely (she said herself she couldn't guarantee it) but it also leaves countless little scars... in the case of Asian skin, the scarring process could involve hyperpigmentation and for a young person, that would suck so I think this is the best method in this instance
Because Dr. Lee knows that they are Stetasystomas with sacs and she removes the sac meaning most will need a stitch or two.
These will all come back without removing the sac!
@@WhathappensinMaine I agree but how long would it take for those sacs to refill?
@@WhathappensinMaine I had 5 removed the way Dr.Lee does it but they left me scars and 2 came back. The smaller ones I had them cut and squeezed out like in this video and no scarring occurred.
I wonder what the certification process is in these countries, because they always seem to be from a "spa", but they're actually doing minor surgical procedures. I'm glad they have more options of places to go for these cosmetic treatments, because in the US, most doctors won't touch these things, because they're so time consuming: even a lot of dermatologists won't do this. I think it's really good for the mental well-being and confidence of the patients, to have these types of skin problems taken care of.
Because in U.S doctors only care about the money not the patient. You need to have heart when doing these things
This is a very good point. I have had trouble with doctors in the US and finally after 12 years I found a dermatologist who cares enough to check my skin properly… It shouldn’t be this way.
@NeedsMoreDiscipline no one said she was doing it for free, they were just saying this lady takes her time and isn't rushing throw it...you come off like you might think your special or something 🤔 did your mom not love you enough!!! No reason to get hateful on here
Only in the USA do we have to ask the Government if I can pop a pimple. Frankly our education is almost worthless. I mean for God sake...a safe area?.....Licensing is just another name for taxation.
I have watched Thuy take some of these clients and perform absolute medical miracles in 1 or 2 visits. Here, the doctor would milk these people out of 10's of thousands of dollars. It's wrong and it will stop as soon as California finally falls of into the Pacific
@Tmslogig You really need to grow up....really
That’s an AMAZING removal of Steatocystomas. I just love to see the three distinct colours and textures of the content and how the skin collapses as the content is removed. Fantastic work Thuy.

It's funny to hear Thuy and the client's reaction. Each time she popped one, both would go "whooooaaaa" and then talk to each other. Of course I wouldn't know what they are saying, but I assume it is probably what we are saying. If I were They, I would tell my client, "Please come back so that I can pop more. That was so exciting! Buttery goodness in all sorts of shades." This lady does come back, and she makes some black steatocystomas as well. No joke! They are colored from the keratin in her hair, and it CRAZY to see. It amazes me how much content these have and you can’t see them on the skin.
On her left arm before she began poking lit you could see ALOT of them. But when she begins poking the swelling begins.
Dr. Pimple Popper is MUCH more careful in removing these. As you can see this poker is trying to get to the larger deeper ones and is messing up on those. They are TOO deep and she SHOULDN'T be trying for those. She could do ALOT of damage to the underlying nerves, tendons and blood lines.
She may also be rupturing several of the ones there close to each other which can cause deep scarring and infections.
This is great work. You are very gentle with this patient. My heart goes out to your client.
You can actually see the color under the skin. It's crazy! Great job!
I'll bet these are definitely one of health sciences weirdest phenomenon.
"Causes. Steatocystoma multiplex can be caused by mutations in the KRT17 gene. This gene provides instructions for making a protein called keratin 17, which is produced in the nails, the hair follicles, and the skin on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet. It is also found in the skin's sebaceous glands." Source ~ Medline

Knowing that this is just an extraction visit and they will all refill since none of the fibers and/or sacs were removed. Was is good to watch? Sure, but you know, it was probably painful 😣

I have them in my arms but it is so difficult to get them out on your own. Luckily my case is mild and I do not have as many. I have had the bigger ones surgically removed by a dermatologist. And the smaller ones squeezed out like it is being done in this video.

I love her technique. Small nicks & no stiches means less to no scarring.
When you poked an area that is raised and nothing comes out you might try to poke it a little deeper. Steatocystomas tend to run deeper under the skin. You are doing great with removing as much of the contents as possible. It is a shame you didn’t remove the sac too, as this is the best way to prevent reoccurrence.
Seems like too many to remove the sac on :/ and i dont think shes allowed making incision to do it
Plus/ she would have a hundred scars if she went to someone who removed the sacs, too.
She probably doesn’t have the license to remove the sacs. If the sacs are not removed the sacs will just fill back again. You can use very thin sharp tweezers to pull the sacs out.
U don’t need to remove the sac, you can do more damage and leave scars. You watch way too many videos. Stop playing the pro
