First, thank you for creating this cadence. I'm from Daytona, so I no the legs this cadence has. I was a youngin when it was brought to then BCC now BCU. My cousin Zach W was the BCC section leader at the time. Both my Jr High and high schools played this. I went on to be the section leader at Howard U and I brought it up there in '95. To pay respect to MBC and BCC I included the original MBC snare part and the changed BCC snare part. Many DC and Maryland high schools play it because of us.
RIP Gerrell! Miss ya dawg
Me too.😢
It's amazing how they sound like they have tonals . That's the sound and versatility leg tenors give.
That’s my man Ced!
this is Morris Brown original you guys, not cookman. Ask your percussion director
Myself, Omar and Harvey T were the creators of "Introducing".
Really! Who was the section leader?
I grew up with Omar. We played at Fulton together then I went over to Douglass in 1986. Tell him Mike said whasup.

True, Morris Brown was playing it in the 80's around 1982. Interjected into section by Harvey Taylor section Leader
@@vashkarvashkar4051, correction: it was implemented the same year in 1981 or 1982. So, it was started from Cookman.
@@fazeman4 So you say it was implemented in 1981 or 1982....Which year was it? And were you there when it was created?
@@vashkarvashkar4051 didn't need to. My mentor was in the section when it happened.
@@fazeman4 So again 1981 or 1982?
thanks for wanting to be sudden impact so much...
