Concerning Jericho we need to remember that on the day Israel left Egypt was the high sabbath of 1/15 first of unleavened bread and they walked ALL day leaving Egypt! That alone proves clearly Jericho was not a violation of Sabbath!
Also would like to add that Yeshua & the Descipiles just 2,ooo yrs ago were keeping the 7th day Sabbath at that time in history. And since then, we know when & how the calendar has been changed down thru the last 19 centuries & there has never been a 7th day cycle ever broken in sequence since!
Gen 1:1-5, first there was darkness, we have no idea how long that was. Then there was light/day. He separated the light/day and darkness/night. With what did He separate them? Evening/dusk and morning/dawn. Day, Evening, Night, Morning, in that order.

One respectful question: if there is no scripture showing a month begins with the new moon, which are your words, isn’t that an inditement against the calendar you promote? All calendars that use the moon to set anything, they all are in error, and must use conjecture to prove it. The scriptures no where say use the moon to set years, months, or weeks.
I have never said that a month does not begin with a new moon. My understanding,at this time, is that the new moon does begin in the month. I don't know that there's a scripture that states that but that is my understanding at this time

Number 2 if you did hear this series, you didn’t listen! What I have learned is lunar sabbath people is like a cult. No matter what truth you present to them in scripture contradicting their belief, they wrongfully plow ahead in absolute denial of the clear teaching of scripture! Ezek 46 the word new moon is not even in the passage! Secondly unleavened bread and Sukkot are not seventh day sabbaths, they are extra high holy day sabbaths and have nothing to do with the seventh day sabbath. Actually, when your high sabbaths and 7th day sabbaths overlap it proves you are keeping the wrong calendar. There are specific offerings for each and if they fell on the same day how could the priest be obedient to make the proper offering? You need to hear and listen to this whole series again! And if you can not answer EVERY point Elder Steve has presented, you need to repent and turn from the wrong practice of lunar sabbath keeping!

The sighted lunar calendar is of Babylonian origin, and needs to be passionately rejected, just like the lunar sabbath doctrine. I can prove that without a doubt from scripture. All Bible students know a scriptural year is 360 days which is 12, 30 day months from Genesis and the Noah story, Daniel and Revelation. I am sure you know that. FACTUALLY, no monthly or annual lunar cycle will ever be monthly consistently 30 days or annually 360 days. This information alone destroys ANY calendar watching the moon for anything, that’s a fact and not subject to debate. I agree, but Isaiah 66:23 says i the new world, both new moons and sabbaths will be observed. We dont yet do anything on new moons, but it appears we will later, after Yahshua returns. i agree the sabbath is 7th day sundown to sundown. I was discharged from the Air Force in 1976 over wanting it off. Was new 7th Day Adventist then.
Suzie, I will be addressing this question in the upcoming studies. However, we should never allow such a question to draw us away from simple obedience to the clear instruction from our Father. Here are two things you can KNOW. 1. There is no evidence in history ANYWHERE that the 7 day cycle has ever been broken. Many changes have been made to calendars through the years. But no one has ever successfully altered the 7 day cycle. It remains. 2. Rom 3:1-2 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? (2) Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God. To the Jews were committed Yahweh's ORACLES: His very utterances. He spoke those to them. You can know: The 7th day is the 7th day regardless of what name any nation calls it. Steve

Sometimes a new moon will occur on the first day of a month, which also may happen on a new year. It just does not determine one or the other.
