Jan, you and your sister Neline are such a hoot. Each filming the other and Neline gets in a promo for A Dairy on the Prairie on your channel. Hilarious. Enjoy watching you both. When Mirjam makes your videos, it's even better. Love your family and your videos. Thanks to you all.
Before I watch the video, let me just say that the several months without hearing your voice was a loss. I'm glad to have you posting videos once again and especially every day since starting back. Good job!! and thanks!!
When is Miriam starting her own channel? Sorry, I'm sure I misspelled it! It would be awesome having all three of you siblings to watch your day to day farming lives!👍 As I've mentioned before, I spent some of my summers on my Uncles dairy farms in N.W. Quebec and some of my most favourite memories as a young kid.🥛🍦 🧀 🚜🐄
The struggle bus was alive and well in this video. You took it all in stride though. I was thinking this morning you probably have one eye on the lagoon and the other on the snowy fields. Calling for double digits now next week.😎
Thanks friend Jan for sharing the new episode. 👍 I wanted to see what the tire change is like, which I imagine should be the two rear ones and in the future the two front ones. 🙄
Another great video. We really appreciate all that you do to get these videos out for us to enjoy. What do you do with the material that builds up on the outside of the bunks in the alley? Looks like it would build up forcing you to drive further away from the bunk when feeding.
Ny-lock nuts we called them. Try putting them on at the *slowest* speed. That nylon insert will overheat from friction and shrink to become totally useless. Ask me how I know.
They make solid tires for those skid steers. Have you ever looked into those ? That's what they use here at the trash transfer stations. Great video as always 👍
At the transfer stations, they have a great risk of a puncture to air-filled tires, so they use solid ones. But the ride is less comfortable on solid tires.
-15C. So cold. Keep warm. I nearly on a parallel with your and we do not have it that cold. No frost her for a couple of weeks. Just wet wet wet again.
I had a landscaping company that I worked in the summer. We had rented a Bobcat with an operator. He was working along the edge of some landscaping timbers. The tire blew when the operator got too close to the timbers. It sounded like an explosion. . . . it certainly got everyone's attention. The operator woke up in a hurry. It was fixed the next day. 😂
Well, at arc.stimg.co/startribunemedia/TYO4NCW3I5CDTEI5PSFHJJPIIQ.jpg?auto=format,compress&cs=tinysrgb& is a picture of the Keller brothers and the first Bobcat, made in 1957 in Rothsay, MN. They had it on display at the 2008 Minnesota State Fair. Almost looks like a baby next to the current ones. (And note, it could use a wash, too.)
Watching how nimble the Bobcat moves it is much quicker than the telehandler yet doesn't have the reach. Still think a much cheaper Woodchuck that would fit on the Bobcats would be a much better solution.
We call that getting your monies worth. It's probably hard to see the condition of those tires. Great your sister comes to the rescue and then you mess with her. Did she say little horse on the Prarie? 😂
I wonder if the drone would work better to push the reluctant girls? There probably is no access to easily park the bobcat for scraping, in the ally that gets flushed and near the fire hose, I bet that hose would be fast to keep it clean each time. Thanks for sharing
Ferdinand lows seeing hair…likes seeing Cheetah; can scratch Ferdinand like that…woof - hair and shades! Mmmm, waffles…“Click Click Boom”…more than DK - Sue or Peter?…"Th-Th-Th-That's All Folks!" - guest for dinner on Sunday? 😎

Genius idea to move that bobcat. You are truly a master of all trades.
Great to see Neline pop in for a visit! ❤
So much respect for farmers, you guys work incredibly hard! 💪
Jan, the natural born equipment operator.👍 Neline has a sensational smile! ☺

Cheeta was the slowest cow how ironic! Those tire didn't owe you anything, you got your moneys worth out of them.

They’re called lock nuts. It’s nylon at the end. Might invest in some lock tight blue
I do believe you got all the use out of those tires. I bet it was an adventure driving on 3 wheels.
JAN COMMEDY!!!!! 😂😂😂😂
The cut from the "Dairy On The Prairie" was hilarious!
The struggle bus was alive and well in this video. You took it all in stride though. I was thinking this morning you probably have one eye on the lagoon and the other on the snowy fields. Calling for double digits now next week.😎
Thanks for coming back to work. We missed your stories.

Good video.
Love how you call the cows, ladies. ♥️🇨🇦
Well, the gentlemen cows don't produce much in the milking parlor!
Ny-lock nuts we called them. Try putting them on at the *slowest* speed. That nylon insert will overheat from friction and shrink to become totally useless. Ask me how I know.
🇨🇦👍👍👍💯🇺🇸
I follow both yours and your sister and absolutely love them both
The nuts that you are using we call self locking nuts down here in the States. Love to watch your daily work on the farm. Thanks.
Demo before/after BOBCAT mishaps? Timing!LOL

You are such a brother. Teasing your sister like that. 😇😅
Jan you have no idea how happy you made when you washed the Bobcat .
I guess the bobcat really wants to be replaced by a weidemann😅
Another very interesting video Thank you 😊😊😊😊😊😊
We use longer clamps and tight it with 3 u bolts. That will last a lot longer😊
"A Dairy on the Prairie" is a great channel
My neighbor repaired all the stalls and replace all bedding . Thank you for the new video learning a lot.
👍

clever use of counter balance on skid steer
Austin sabotaged the Bobcat the other day when you weren’t looking, and busy with the demo of that other one Jan. Naughty Austin!
Looks to me you might expect "baby" bobcats pretty soon !

lmao we have these special nuts that lock but i dont know what they are called, they are called locknuts sir you were so close!!!

Sibling channel competitiveness! 🤣🤣
Hello from Puerto Rico i working before in bobcat i have experience
Jan, just curious... was the one lady in the corral limping? (At the 5 minute mark).... love your videos! You and your family stay safe!!
Got your money worth on that tire. It's a s**tty job but someone got to do it 😂.
Those are called nylock nuts, that's a nylon ring that grips the male threads preventing loosening from vibration.
Maybe the 2 ton of force when the cow go into there stalls
The little Bobcat reminds me of the Disney movie wall-E
Welcome back! Missed your videos
GOOD AFTERNOON
@13:25 could you not use the demo, or it's gone😊.
How come Brent never gets poop on his boots? Was he not around to help you chase the dry cows? Another great video Jan!
Nice video
Did the tire just blew up at the exact same place where you hit the concrete wall? Kind of a bermuda triangle!
12:43 💀
there called a pressure nut
I wonder if the drone would work better to push the reluctant girls? There probably is no access to easily park the bobcat for scraping, in the ally that gets flushed and near the fire hose, I bet that hose would be fast to keep it clean each time. Thanks for sharing

😎
Nylon lock nut is what it is Jan
Is it a coincident that the Bobcat blows a tire right after the salesmen were there with a new demo. I think not.
That boom most likely caused a few grey hairs or filled the unddies... lmfao
🚜 🚜 🚜🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄 🚜 🚜🚜
I do follow your channel
If you didn’t have manure you’d have a lot of time on your hands.
I figure my year is at least 2 months dealing with cow manure
☝️Nyloc
I See on the other side Some zig zag neckrail. Why didn’t you install those in the whole free stall barn?
Nylon nuts
You need a herding dog. It works for sheep; why not cows?
do your cows understand Dutch ?
Do you have horses in your farm
Naline has a couple, but is planning to move them to her place this spring.
So, what I get from this video is Jan is not good with the ladies...
КОРОВЫ РУЛЯТ
