I used to do all this including hiding in the back. No more. I don't sweat or freeze to death and have my car running. It's my setup that is unique and unorthodox, but successful. Hide in plain sight.
to smp293: A suggestion for curtains: I am putting together my own van right now and I found that I can stretch a bungee cord in the front or rear of the van, I picked up some cheap curtain rings that have a roach-clip style clip at the bottom and they work well putting them on the bungee for sliding back and forth. I also found that if you use black felt fabric, not only will it block light extremely well but you can easily hang with the spike "side" of Velcro and it will not fall down.
They're called "alligator clips" fyi, but most ppl know what a roach clip looks like. Are drugs the way you're able to sit still and not go mad? For me they're a lot of fun, but I have to be doing something or your Mom starts wanting to snuggle and cuddle. Wake up n chew my arm off, ya kno?
Hey Aaron, from one PI to another, great video man! Just wondering how or what you used to keep the curtain rods in place. I drive an SUV also, with clothing hooks near the rear passenger seat and another set closer to the trunk area but not as far back as yours. As you know, the tint itself, often isn't enough for efficient surveillance so I bought the rods and curtains, just trying to figure out how to efficiently hang them. Any feedback would be greatly appreciative man, thanks in advance
In both my surveillance vehicles, I’ve installed a second battery to run and charge all the toys. And should the starting battery die, a flip of a switch and I can instantly jump my vehicle from the second battery. And with my system, the vehicle alternator charges the second battery two. No need to haul all the crap in every night and charge it.
love the video ... just curious ... what is the Brand and model name of the cool system you made your cool box out of....I am having difficulty finding anything similar to it
IS THIS YOUR PIRTABLE POWER SOURCE:Xantrex 852-1802 XPower 1800 Power Source? And if so, do you know of any equivalent ones that are not quiet as pricey as this one?
Power source looks like and or similar to Xantrex X power source 400 system - slow video to frame you want - stop video and might be able to see the brand on the power unit, think its rt on if not different year model,,,
Never had to sit in really high heat before? Put some water on your skin and sit in front of a fan - you cool off real fast. If you're sittin in a parked car in the hot sun for 8 hours, you're probably gonna appreciate that capability quite a bit. Can't just keep the car running for the AC...
all of these perks and upgrades don't mean much when the exterior perception of your vehicle is going to get you made 70% of the time

Great video makes me want to become a private investigator!!

Aaron,
Don't know if you're still with Horsemen; but how did you rig the curtain rods to the interior?
Have a professional do it.

Your arm tattoo stands out like a sore thumb. I would remember that if I ever saw you twice.
