- The Maps were born on March 7, 2024. They were brought to a local shelter without their mom.

Wyatt (male ginger) arrived from Texas on March 31. His birthdate is February 18. Wyatt was born to a friendly community cat. It was her first litter. She is a ginger and she had 4 ginger kittens. Wyatt is the only special needs. He was 1/2 the size of his siblings at birth. The feeder contacted a Texas rescue right away when she saw Wyatt’s jaw. They picked him up within 2 hours of his birth. Mom and the other 3 are doing great!
Wyatt, the ginger kitten, is a special needs kitten. He is blind and cannot close his mouth due to a jaw deformity. He is tube fed since he cannot eat on his own.

Thanks Jen for the very wonderful and promising update on our sweet little Wyatt ❤️🥰😺. It is definitely very exciting news for him and since there is a tooth back there that looks like it’s hindering him to close his mouth, I really do believe he will be able to eat for sure on his own and also close and open his mouth too once it’s all done. He’s a happy kitten and definitely does get around really good for not seeing too which is absolutely amazing too. It’s pleading to kmow also that his mouth and tooth is more important then anything else for now and to also wait until he is older and bigger too for the other surgeries too. God bless you and thank you for taking great care of Wyatt too. It makes me happy to see he is a happy and playful kitten too. God bless sweet Wyatt and you too and the other kitties with him also. Maybe they can make the mri and both needed ct scans at the same time. Ct scans normally don't take long. If he has no other problems with his eyes I would do that last. But I'm of course no doctor. Just an idea with the ct scans. Would be awesome if only this one 🦷 is his problem with his mouth. Fingers crossed for him 🤞
@KitkatPlayroom did the dentist suggest you try to wiggle that tooth a little bit each day (you didn't say how far back it is) to encourage it to come out?
