- Wyatt (male ginger) arrived from Texas on March 31. His birthdate is February 18. Wyatt was born to a friendly community cat. It was her first litter. She is a ginger and she had 4 ginger kittens. Wyatt is the only special needs. He was 1/2 the size of his siblings at birth. The feeder contacted a Texas rescue right away when she saw Wyatt’s jaw. They picked him up within 2 hours of his birth. Mom and the other 3 are doing great!
Wyatt, the ginger kitten, is a special needs kitten. He cannot close his mouth due to a jaw deformity.

Kitkat Playroom is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) rescue based in southern New Jersey. We believe that tiny cats are mighty heroes. Any donation you contribute is tax-deductible. We are an all-volunteer rescue; we have no paid staff. Cash/credit, food, and supply donations made to Kitkat Playroom go directly to the needs of our adoptable fosters. Monetary donations are used for their emergency and routine veterinary care. Anything donated in excess of their needs will be saved and used for the next family of momcat/kittens that Kitkat Playroom rescues. THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING TO DONATE TO OUR KITKUBS! We are very small and need every bit of help we can get!
CHAT GUIDELINES:
- NO SWEARING or dirty talk. Please keep chat PG and family-friendly.
- Please do not type in all caps when Foster Jen is speaking in the room, we use them for CC (closed captioning) which helps our viewers who have difficulty hearing or viewers who do not have their sound turned on. We appreciate your enthusiasm! We think the kittens are SQUEE!!-worthy, too! However, please use other methods to express yourself, like emojis. :-)
- Do not use abusive language about momcat, the kittens, or each other. We can disagree, but please be respectful.
- You may link to other rescue kitten or rescue animal cams, in moderation. Do not ask for subscriptions to personal channels. Do not advertise non-rescue cams or channels.
- We support the tremendous effort of animal rescues around the globe. That said, it can be confusing to Kitkat Playroom viewers when someone discusses cats from another cam. Moderators will use their discretion and may remove posts that confuse the chat.
- IGNORE trolls. Trolls are bored, sad people who intentionally try to upset you with antagonizing messages. They want you to respond. They go away if you ignore them.
- Non-positive comments about snugglers/persons on-cam, will not be tolerated in any form. They selflessly offer their time and deserve the utmost respect. Negative comments might earn you a timeout or even ban.

Little Wyatt is probably missing his furry friends, of course, but he is getting a lot of good sleep in the meantime, without getting disrupted. On top of Wyatt having to heal from his pneumonia & eye ulcers, his body also has his regular ‘growing up’ to do, so the more rest he gets right now, the better it will be for him. And of course, we all want the very best for this brave little fighter! Many thanks to all involved at the KIt Kat rescue who are working so hard to keep him safe and healthy!!
Nicole, thank you so much for being with Wyatt cause he surly enjoyed your time with him so much. He was such a funny and adorable little guy no doubt.🥰❤️😺. I loved it when you stopped petting him and he meeped. It was so adorable and also I too could hear his purrs too even though they were low purrs. Just watching him have an awesome time with you just made me smile and eve cry happy tears too and he even continued to play after you left too which was so cute.🥰 thanks again to you and all the Snugglers too for spending the time you all do with him and I do believe that it’s not just the medicines that are helping him to get better but it’s also the love and attention along with playtime he gets that helps him to feel good and happy too. Hugs love and continued prayers for sweet Wyatt and thanks to all the Snugglers too. Sue M. Florida 🥰❤️👏🏻👏🏻😘😁😺🙏👍🏻❌⭕️

Hi wyatt, hope youre ok, and doing well. Well done to everyone in his and all the other cats & kittens care ❤❤❤
So glad to see him so happy! 🐈💙
Soo glad he is doing well! He reminds me of Tater in a lot of ways. 😺😀
Wyatt melts my heart!!! 😍😻
Will he ever be able to have a forever home?
He's adorable I couldn't give him up for adoption 😊 wouldn't you worry about another kitten. Scratching his eyes. When they play
I have a feeling he's missing the others
I think the pee pads have a pheromone in them or some kind of attractant. We had a kitten who used them too. He wouldn't use the litter box no matter how much we tried. He would go on the floor so we put the pads in his favorite spots and he learned to use them. Maybe the same thing happened with Wyatt.
I think the pads are for Wyatt’s safety because he had pieces of litter attached to his eye a few times in the past 2 weeks unfortunately, so its much safer for him to use a liner.
@remyb8887 Oh I did not know that! Thank you!
