I tested Comete yesterday afternoon and your review nails it. I liked the sparkling cherry top notes introducing the main iris, almond, powdery story. I too have Celine's St. Germain des Pres, and noticed some similarities. St. Germain des Pres is a little more raspy, green heliotrope and Comete is a smoother heliotrope, a Crème Chantilly floral, if that makes sense. It is very much like kissing a ballerina backstage as you say, but it also reminded me of the Entrance of the Shades section in La Bayadere-- another great artistic French interpretation of India, like Sycomore and Coromandel.
Amazing! Wonderful Description.. It really is playing with codes of makeup perfumes in a "fleur de peau" fashion. I had some women tell me it completely blends with their make-up/creams and such. Ohhh.. I have to look up this act of La Baydere now. Thank you very much for sharing!
The way you described the scent kinda reminds me of Hiram Green's Arbole...which I found bold but not easy to wear. I will definitely need to try this.
oohhh... Possibly. I haven't smelled that Hiram Green, so no idea. I found Comète to be very wearable actually. But yes, please share when you test it. Cheers!

Thank you! They may share some hints obviously because of the heliotrope. But different scents. I had mentioned L'Eau d'Hiver in my impressions video of Comète
Eau d’Hiver has more lemony notes. It evokes more coolness.
Your review is spot on. I have spent 30 minutes smelly Comete. It’s not worth the price as its smell like a watered down Beige perfume

Hahaha No Problem... I would like to talk about that fragrance actually. It is a strange spicy camphor scent backed by benzoin and patchouli. Reminds me of the base of Guerlain Arts & Materials perfumes. I do like it but it can go either way depending on taste as with other Etat Libre d'Orange stuff. Worth a sniff for sure. Thanks for still watching this review even though this scent may be not be your style.. 🤣✌🙏

I love 1932.. Do you think this is better than 32
Ufff tough question that... I gotta smell 1932 again. I don't own it as I preferred 31 Rue Cambon. So need to revisit to compare it to Comète
Comète is smoother and softer. Both 1932 and 31, Rue Cambon are with more inner strength and character. The top notes vanish earlier in Comète.
I would say the heavy musk is in the same shade of 1932 and 31 Rue Cambon. 3rd party vendor only in France where u got yours? Thanks for the review, Sir.
