Hi! At this length and drum weight, the 390 is 3.5 lbs, I think the TX9 A Intensity is better. The TX7 is a stiffer and harder rod at this length and casting weight. Both are very good for long distance casting, but the TX9 tires the fish better. However, the TX7 360 3lbs rod has a softer curve and works better and is not as hard as the TX7 390 3.5lbs rod.
