When I first started playing, I spent a Lot of time in the arena. It was the only way I had to make money at the time. Fighting so much in the arena trained me to take on large groups of enemies and also leveled me up enough to sometimes one shot opponents with my leveled up one handed/two handed strikes. If you do this early game, it's way better than going to the training areas to level up recruits. When you use the training area, you level up recruits and also gain experience to level up, but on a miniscule amount because You're sharing that experience with your warband as far as I know.
the best source of early game experience income is town quests (from guild masters, you and your companions will level up very quickly, I got a character to level ~20 in just a few months) and the best source of mooney (non-continuous) is lord quests (they give you quests to collext taxes sometimes, always take them, con the lord if you want, it probably won't come back to bite you if you don't plan on joining that kingdom)
Ye its much more worth to stack the Trainer skill across your Party. Once you re like lvl 12 (something in that ballpark) you pretty much lvl up Tier 1 units in 1-2 days all by yourself without any fighting.

I made the mistake of joining the vaegers (which isn't bad honestly, we completely pushed the nords into one castle and I have a full army of nord warriors, swadian knights, and companions on horseback) but I'm at a point where vaegers aren't providing enough income. Their assaults are lame, I'm the one bringing heavy troops to everything, and I keep getting raided when I'm away from my fiefs.
I started off as a Rhodok and one of the first things that happened was my kingdom reducing all of Swadia to 3 castles lol. We currently control like 60% of the map and the ENTIRE Swadian kingdom has been reduced to a single castle that i can't convince anyone to siege for some reason

@@SamscrewuGamingHahahaha yeah bro don't rely on the AI and if you do make it a faction with assault troops that way your not the heavy pusher, you seem to be doing perfectly fine, tip your not supposed stay with a king for a long period of time I'd go on your own as a king when you have about 90-120 High tier horsemen keep a small but consolidated realm, capture castles around a town over long periods of time, then the town quickly after the last castle around this town at this point your lord won't want you to have any more land and you can leave with all the territory you have including the city you captured and the Lord will immediately ask for peace, strategy on the map matters just as much as the field
Honestly, for me the best way to make money was selling Sea Raiders I don't exactly how much they were sold for, but as far as i remember, i never had problems with money Just equip something that hits hard, mount a horse, gather your bois and go crush some bones, then repeat
120 for most high tier troops, 96, 45 and 30 I think best to have a capacity of at least 20 prisoners, lords can be sold for 15K to 1,800 denars depends on their status and army size

And if that city has a tournament it is a nice bonus. However not the big money that can be made. Tip, it is a circle you make and ignore the middle of the map. Interesting stat setup. Guess you are going for max skills with that high intellect?
Not all towns have a Dyeworks as the most profitable enterprise meaning you can invest a smaller amount in certain regions for same production, being a mercenary in Nordic or Khergit or Vaegir territory for max loot potential and you'll gain it pretty quick

In warband most stats other then intelligence and charisma are kinda useless. My build in warband is specifically to train troops to high tiers passively, ensure they don't die in battle, heal them up quick, and move on the map quickly. I usually just do quest from guild masters in the major cities to level up early on and get my intelligence to 21-30 I think 21 is best. If you can't put a point into training, path finding, surgery, or leadership then save them to use once you can. Intelligence, 21 as it will keep your troops strong and alive. Charisma I get to like 18 and put 6 points into leadership Agility is irrelevant Strength to 10 so you can wear the best gear in the game. So Intelligence - 21 Charisma - 18 Strength - 10 Agility - doesn't matter Trainer - lvl 7 Surgery - lvl 7 Path finding - lvl 7 Leadership - lvl 6 After you get those you can do whatever you want with the build. I kinda like opting for either the wound healing one or the persuasion skill after. I'd say spam points in intelligence till it's lvl 21 then go to Charisma till lvl 18 then Strength last to 10. After that you can do anything you want with the build as you'll likely be good no matter what After that.

Although I did go down, it was only because I forgot to save, before being mobbed by a 170 man army on my first village raid for the Nords. I will try again soon, thanks, great advice, I was able to train up & maintain, a 33 man group, get prisoners, persuade them or hire released captives, so much easier then with a martial build, where I kept getting wiped out.

So you don't need to put any points in those skills yourself, you can hire companions in taverns and have them learn those skills for you. As for Strength, I've used a character with 30 strength for power draw 10, and with a masterwork war bow I'll oneshot anything from 150+ meters away. You can solo armies even on the highest difficulty.

I just started my first hardcore run (i.e max difficulty 148%) And jesus making money in the beginning is very hard You practicly cant win tournaments or arena fights For the first time ever I got to work as a mercenary and it was amazing having that steady flow of income for just existing. I wouldnt get a vassel position since being a women does come with its own share of difficulties. Right now I am just trying to get enough Money together to buy an enterprise in a city
If you’re looking for the best bandit cash try the sea raiders over by rivacheg’s shores. They might be a little tougher but they usually have the best gear out of all bandits and can sell fairly decent at a broker.
My character is now lvl 34 with 4759 kills and here Is armor rating and some other equipment specifically because they are all around versatile regarding speed and weapon reach Head armor: 57 Body armor: 70 Leg armor: 58 Heavy charger horse Tempered sword of war Balanced elite scimitar Reinforced huscarls round shield
Tip for anyone who sees this, if you get an iron works in curuw? That one vegir city with the iron it makes more money then a dryer works and it’s like half as much
many base values (fe base prices) will differ from playthrough to playthrough and depending on the state of the world map things will change. supply chains can be disrupted when for example curaw´s villages are raided or the villagers get killed on their way bringing iron into the city, meaning the iron has to be brought in from other cities through caravans for WAY worse prices. its all simulated and shit. in my current game for example my rivacheg dyeworks make 1500 per week while my curaw ironworks only make 350 so rivacheg was a much better 1st investment, but thats only possible because i regularly clear the north cost from sea raiders (they are like ants, all over the place murdering peasants transporting goods and looting villages), this leads to an overabundance of raw silk in rivacheg which drives the price of silk down thereby increasing my revenues from the dyeworks big time. once the vaegirs get into a really bad war however, my stonks will go down the gutter thats for sure, because razed villages -> bad prices ig the conclusion is find a town owned by a peaceful faction far away from faction borders with little to no bandits (it depends on where their camp is located, to change its position destroy it), the surrounding villages need to produce valuable raw materials AND the town itself shouldnt produce the goods you want to fabricate on its own, bc that will increase the local supply and mess up your prices. everything in the game is connected i didnt even go over all the details my brain would explode
@catnaut9035 A easy way to "exploit" the game's dumb AI is to use battle commands in the tournament! You can press F1 + F1 to order your team-mates to stay in place and then F1 + F3 for them to charge at the enemy This is very useful when you have tourney matches with more than 2 teams So imagine you have 4 teams You order your guys to stay out The other 3 teams fight as usual, the 2 teams next to you may even split up and send some of their men to you (which alone will not fare well) Then, once they're done fighting and are weakened, you can charge and defeat them easie
@@kidd4988 different regions give different weapon types to fight with. I like the blue named areas more cause they usually have a lot of ground melee tournaments.
If the guild master says you can't buy land there, it's because you have a bad reputation with the owner of the town. It has to be atleast 0 to do business.
I was using console here. My best advice would be fight with the majority of your team, and try to make the enemy teams aggro on each other. Even 1v1v1v1 or 2v2v2v2 try to keep your team up by supporting any fight they get in safely but always try to avoid a fight if the other enemy A.I are fighting.if your whole team dies then try to stay completely out of the fights and help the losing team as much as you can.

I generally start a game off winning tournaments until I get at least 3 businesses. IDK if it is the best or worst way, but it is the way I roll.

i dont actually know of any exploits, the easiest thing to do is put dmg on main character super low then try to keep your teammates alive.

You can win bow and crosbow fights very easy in a free for all. Just dont shoot till they all have aggro on each other. Snipe strongest and win. Easy.
Also, even if you have teammates, if you're lucky, they'll get defeated too. Then you won't have to fight them later.
