    Nintendo soldered the battery in place?! What were they thinking???
    Oh wait...it's Nintendo...that's why 🙄😝

      I think they went that way for budget reasons. Nintendo always cares for that to be able to lower their losses and make the console more affordable.

      That's fair.

    Great mods. Nice way to save a system if the disk drive dies. Be blessed.

    GC Loader is a bit pricey but is the best option in my opinion. Easy to install and no soldering needed. Gread vid. New sub here. 😎

      It really was an easy install. Much easier than some of the other ODE I've dealt with.

    Does the swiss no longer require a secondary memory card?

    • @Magneteco
      @Magneteco  8 місяців тому +1

      With the GC Loader, it does not require a memory card at all!

      GC Loader has everything needed with Swiss. You can turn on the option to use a virtual memorycard. But I still recommend to use a real memory card since I heard there are issues with some games when using the virtual memory card. Also, I recommend having two memory cards and use one of those as a backup so in case something happens you can recover your saves from the second one. 😎

      @monchopr3511 That is what I do. I just slap in two OEM memory cards and I'm off to play games!

    I thought i read somewhere that when setting up the GC loader with swiss you needed two SD cards. One that's smaller for the OS and one for your games.
    Has that changed?

      @Magneteco  3 місяці тому

      @malevolenceD3CAY I can guarantee you, that with a legitimate GC Loader you can run everything off one SD card. This is the way I've been using mine to play games. However, you can also buy an Micro SD Card and an SD2P2 adapter if you wish to run your games from there.

      @@Magneteco fair enough, thank you. I wasn't sure because I swear I heard or read that it could only read Swiss off of a SD card that was like idk "2gb" (can't remember the actual size)at largest or something.
      So I was completely convinced I was going to have to buy 2 different SD cards.
      Thank you for confirming.

      @malevolenceD3CAY No problem at all. I'm glad we were able to clarify this so you know what your options are. If you need further help, just let me know. Happy gaming!

    Can you use the GC loader to play other roms?

    • @Magneteco
      @Magneteco  Місяць тому

      @BrettPhillips-q4d For sure! You can add NES, SNES, Genesis Emulators and more. Add the emulators to Swiss and play the roms from there. I don't use them personally, but I know it's a well loved feature!

    I suggest stay tunned and sub to the channel. Gamecube has a lot of cool stuff in therms mods.
    Imagine using any bluetooth controller you want (PS3, PS4, PS5, Xbox One/Series X, 8BitDo, Switch Pro, Joy-Cons, you name it) up to all 4 players without the need of any adapters.
    Imagine having a Japanese Gamecube and can't access the memory card of your other region games or want to have access the interface in english. There is a mod for that too.
    Also, lots of options if you want to connect your Gamecube through HMDI and benefit from the best picture on your screen. Some requires mods and other just plug and play.
    Can't wait for more from the channel. :)

      The Carby is a great option to use HDMI. I really don't want to buy a $300 Component cable. Thank you for checking out the video my friend!
