Musikalischer Witz brillant serviert. Liza Batiashvili please tell your husband his conducting was brilliant and his moustache plus chin beard stehn ihm ganz toll.
Bravo!!! A wonderful interpretation and the tempos, in my humble opinion, were perfect. Well done! What an absolute treat to listen this mid September 2024 Saturday afternoon in Renton, Washington. Thank you! I fell in love with this piece back in the late 1960s and it's been a favorite of mine throughout the years.
I have never been much of a fan of Stravinsky and particularly not of neo-classical Stravinsky however, I loved watching this video because of the performance of the orchestra. I watch all of their videos. I have never been disappointed and have frequently been enthralled. This video did not change my mind about Stravinsky but it certainly deepened my respect and admiration for the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra. I wonder if the orchestral musicians realize just how much they enrich the lives of their listeners. Thank you to all concerned.

I haven’t heard this piece of music before. I think I’ll have to listen to it again. The musicians are really very talented and play this piece very well. Nice work. !!! ... Yes.
This sophisticated performance these splendid performers with incomparable skill and exquisite technique is beyond description , and inspirational , graceful and comfortable to the ear and the mind
A great work. Bravo! One could only hope for a live audience so that the conductor could acknowledge the soloists for recognition and applause. But all were superb.
thank you for letting me to know one great piece and know one great composer Strawinsky!! good job!! really love this song and how you guys perform it lively.!
IMAGINE playing oboe under Leleux! That oboist is probably feeling a bit of pressure, huh! He plays the solos extremely well - just the way they should be performed!
Excellent performance! When the flute player comes in two bars too early at 18.09, the camera happens to be on the double basses, one of whom looks up in surprize.
i know this piece from music lesson. we are talking about strawinsky right now and he is so interesting and this piece is so amazing!! this is my favourite piece.
I've only known Stravinsky's neoclassical works, so what a delight to get to listen to this rather traditional piece - for a lack of better word I can think of.
Stravinsky was genial ,this is out of question, nevertheless his “Pulcinella” is an intelligent collage of melodies of Pergolesi(1710 - Pozzuoli, 16 marzo 1736) and Domenico Gallo (Venezia, 1730 circa - 1768). Stravinsky was genial above all in is his orchestration . I mean the choice of the instruments . For instance he substitutes the clavichords with a trumpet and a cello in low register with a trombone. His honesty of artist maintain the integral Italian texts. I want to in indicate a link to hold up my naive analyses of The Pulcinella ,that the unreachable Russian maister wrote. ua-cam.com/video/GO2uW_YyeVU/v-deo.html
Sorry to say that in the Serenata at n.9 Ob.I (2nd bar) not to play the acciaccatura,as written,is a little bit ridiculous:it’s Stravinsky no more Pergolesi’s music! It means no philology 😂…Can someone from #hr-symphonieorchester explain that?
The conductor has a rudimentary technique and dances unnecessarily on the podium. The orchestra would easily be able to play on its own. Here is a case in which the conductor is a limitation, despite being visibly pleased with his performance.
Merveilleuse musique.
The oboe solo in the serenata is absolutely enchanting. José Luis García Vegara shines as always!

Wow, as perfect a performance as I've ever heard, either live or in the studio. Those woodwind and horn players are gods!
Magnificent performance of a very difficult piece. Bravos, especially to the solo oboe and bassoon!

His performance as a conductor is new to me because I've been watching him perform as a player.
I was going to praise the principal violinist, the trombone and trumpet, but all of your guys were superb!
Una joyita musical. Una brillante interpretación

Wow, that's beautiful
Attention on the legs of the maestro. Wonderful !
Total neo baroque. 🥰
Wonderful. Exceptional.
The most sublime tempo was taken at @15:46 onward.
Highlights:
- Flute flourish
- Bassoon tenuto markings
Oh my word...
I love Stravinsky…!!!
José Luis García Vergara's oboe sound is perfection.
José plus Clara is perfect harmony
Vegara, please. Vegara.
