  • In this video we take you out to Ike Kinswa State park, out in Mosseyrock, Washington. We give you that virtual ride around Ike Kinswa and show you all the campsites and let you know which ones may work for you. This campground is great and definitely give many ways to camp from partial hookups, to no hookups and also camping in a cabin. All while nestled on 2 rivers that feed into Mayfield lake, which makes it a very sought after campground here in the northwest.

    Was the water to sites with water hook up turned off when you were there?
    They seem to have mixed messages about that on several pages-
    One says water off till March 31st another says water on in May
    it’s the only thing stopping us from checking it out before summer crowds also that dump station closed - no wonder I stay at the coast ;)
    Great video -

      When we were there last year (mid to end of March) the open sites had water (sites 42-73) and the dump was functional when we were there. The sites 1-41 and 74-101 open on May 1st I believe. You should be good for water and dum in sites 42-73 from now til October at least. They say they close the water and dump down in the winter. Hope that helps !

    Thank you for taking the time to show each site and the number of each site. Would love to have seen the non-rv sites.

      Thanks for the amazing comment. We got most to all the sites there. We missed the A loop due to it being actively repaired and renovated, so weren't allowed to go down there, but we do plan on going back to finish those sites. !!!

    We would like to see how big the areas are for setting up a tent behind or next to trailer. Also if the area is gravel, dirt and if it is level. etc. This area is where we spend much of our time with friends and family, it is important for us to know about this area.

      Most of the spots I saw on the upper loops had some decent areas in them to put a tent. I know our site had enough space was was fairly level . Thanks for the leaving the question !

    Is there areas for tent camping that are handicap accessible

    • @UniqueAdventurez
      @UniqueAdventurez  2 роки тому +1

      to be honest Ron, I don’t remember seeing tent sites specifically, but they did have handicap sites there that I would assume could double as a tent site. plus they also have those cool cabins as well. I appreciate the comment and will keep my eyes out for more handicap tent sites !

      most of the longer ones are dry camping ,but if you have a good battery bank then i would prefer those over the full hookup sites !!
