That was sick, was curious on the foot placement doing the swivel technique. Is there a reason your left foot is higher up on the board? What is the compensation here? Pedal tension?

I think it's because of the loss on the left pedal. I know I'm doing that but I stopped thinking about it years ago. What's works, works.
Man this is pretty much flawless but I would have thought with skills like yours you could get the kick beaters a littler further back, still unbelievable
Jesse Bowles no you don't, you don't for an acoustic set either, but it makes a big difference in tone especially the low end and attack if you do hit a bit harder. Usually the kick sound in metal is a combination of the trigger sound and the accoustic sound so it would still make a difference. That being said I can't fault this guys tone anyway
Neon Black True. Definitely lots of guys blending it in their mix. But you can also upload your custom "tones" onto modules now and you can get a beefy clicky bass sound while hitting it with a feather

your feet are so much more consistent than the original...the drums really ruined this album for me in a lot of ways...which is a shame considering it was easily some of the best guitar playing of the decade.
