Modern Warfare 3 Crash Site walkthrough
Your first objective after starting the Modern Warfare 3 Crash Site mission is to search for three mobile devices. Take out the two guards ahead of you, then press on down the road towards the crash site, taking the guard up on the hill by the water tower.
If you get spotted at any point, find cover, lose the guards, and reset. Avoid getting overwhelmed. Alex will provide supporting fire but don’t rely on him to keep you out of harm’s way. Konni periodically calls in reinforcements so you’re never quite in the clear during this mission.
Stick to the grass on the left until you come to the first small house. Take out the two guards at the back of the house first, then those at the front. You’ll find the first mobile device to be hacked by a parked truck northwest of the house.
Press on the north to the third mobile device near a water tower and an open-air hanger. It’s worth picking up the Sentry Gun in the hangar as well and setting it up to keep reinforcements distracted.
Find the Flight Recorder
Cross the road to the house in the northwest of the map. Inside a room at the back, you’ll find the Flight Recorder. Watch out as you enter for the soldier that pops out as you open the door to the room.
Alex will get ambushed at this point, so you must return to the rendezvous point. There’s a path to the northeast of the village that you can take that makes getting there easier. Head that way, picking off any guards in your way.
When you reach Alex, he’s being held by three guards. Take them out quickly then jump into the truck and exfil to complete the Modern Warfare 3 Crash Site mission.
