We met many solo trampers on the walks and they all seemed to have a great time. Any idea which one will be your first one?

Very nice! You are a brave lady to do that alone. What an amazing opportunity to get close to nature.

Thanks! Hiking in New Zealand feels different from the US - so uber relaxed. Didn't even hesitate to go solo.

I like the way you showed us around inside the huts, and your interesting commentary.
I was warmly amused at your desire for a change from the "more bush". 😉 We Kiwis love tramping in the bush and can enjoy it for a whole day! It's a natural part of our outdoor lifestyle here. 🤗
I am very much enjoying watching your solo hike, as I am a single woman, and I am planning on going solo on some of our walks.
    Great video!
    ❤️ 👐🏿 😊

I've met so many awesome female solo trampers on the tracks in New Zealand and they all seem to be having a great time. Hope you get the opportunity to do so real soon and let us know how they go! Thanks for watching.

@@ourlifev3 I was hiking in the bush in my region the other day, and I still remembered this video. ❤️ I was telling my friend about you! 😁
She and I both love the bush, and we are definitely planning to do Heaphy this year or next for sure. 🌳💖

@@GypsyGirl317 Where we're currently located there aren't any good local hiking trails. 😖 I miss NZ where they are plentiful. Happy that you're out enjoying and hope you get to do the Heaphy this year! Let me know how it goes when you do. 🙂

I'm wondering how you thought about your 5 day hut instead of doing it in 4 days? If you had to do it again which would you do?

5 days would allow more time to explore the caves, offshoots and beaches. It would also have made the first day shorter, which would have been great. I still think that I would do 4 day again though, just would plan them out much better to spend more time exploring.
