Hey puddin, I just wanted to say huge fan, I was locked up for a year and now I have to go back to the last video I watched of yours which was the 69 Chevy parkwood wagon video and start bingeing from there. So I guess here’s to the many hours I’m going to melt away watching your videos to catch up to where you’re at now. Love you man and thank you for the entertainment. Keep up the hard work
You ok brother ? You dont normally miss uploading. I hope all is well brother . Everyone else have a great tomrrow. And wait patient another upload hopfully soon.
Hey Puddin if you heat that axle tube with your torch 250 degrees you will chase the moisture out of that metal and it would be a huge help on keeping the cracks out of your weld.
always love seein bill pop in and lend a hand here and there and give a few laughs here and there haha reminds me of the folks i grew up around and have grown to miss!
Best investment I ever made in the shop is a Drill Doctor. Worth every penny. Sharpens the dullest bits and you don't need an engineering degree to operate it.
Project Farm did an episode on drill bit sharpeners. Might want to check it out. A lot of people, including me, can't freehand sharpen drill bits. This episode might help them decide which sharpener best fits your needs.
I got a 1998 in the same color in high school. I didn’t notch her but bagged her by putting compressor pump as an auxiliary on the engine! Flint block on rear frame for 20 ft rooster tails! This series takes me back…
I just came here to check the comments to see if the PUddin family was well and if they were taking some time off. Thanks for letting us know. Happy New Year everyone.
I'm sitting here yelling at the screen that your old rear is setting on the floor and you could have verified what angle it's mounts are at. You persevered and pushed through anyways. Great Job!
Damnit puddin! There an access hole on the end of the axle flange to put a socket in, all you have to do is zip the backing plates bolts off with impact that conveniently have the self locking nuts that you mutilated 😂 2 min job turned to 30 min
Merry Christmas. I was anxious about the video this week. Whether you might take the week off for Christmas or not, But I'm glad you put on a video. It always makes me smile and puts joy into my week.
I did that hay thing with a 92 S-10 and it was the longest wheelie ever! Even scared the horses away. Merry Christmas to you and your family and friends.
Easy enough, you’re doing a great job. I cut and narrowed a 9 inch out of a 74 T bird for my 55 Chevy using the same method, probably watched the same prep video. Doing all the good.
Awesome to see you build a ls swapped s10. I love mine. 85 s10 been in the family since brand new. Was stored in a barn since 2000. I got possession of it about 2 years ago and built it. Truck had 36k miles on it. Love your videos!
Having the ability to accurately sharpen drill bits by hand is a talent I've never achieved either Jacob. I get lucky every now and then and nail one, but... That's about it. LOL
Nice to see pudding working on a truck I thought he wouldn't be able to er come his fears after burning himself welding on the 50,s Chevy now is he man enough to build the truck that burnt him
Merry Christmas to you and your family, thanks for getting me through a tough year, sadly I can't help you financially but I appreciate the hard work and the time you put in to bring your shows to us, what I'm trying to say is you are making a difference to my life and I'm quite sure I'm not the only one saying this. So thank you so much. All the very best from Scotland
Puddin next to your measuring for spring center if you just measure outside to inside of the leaf springs it gives you center, that way your not fumbling trying to hold the tape awkwardly
Puddin the best wire to use on them axles is the flux core wire from Lincoln. Make sure its the Stainless wire. Dont use the cheaper Forney flux core. A large plumber pipe cutter keeps your tube true also. Ridgid pipe cutter is worth it. I bevel the tungsten so the striations run lengthways.
I just changed some ford F100 rotors from 5x5.5 to 5x4.5 lug pattern kind of the same way you redrilled your axels. I bought a set of adapter spacers and knocked the studs out of the 4.5 pattern, bolted it to the rotors and used it as a template to drill out the rotor to the smaller pattern in a drill press. I started with 19/32 then stepped up to 39/64’s, because I measured wrong the first time and my knurled end wouldn’t press in.
I like it, putting Ford parts in a Chevrolet to make it better. Should have got a Foxbody 8.8 and you wouldn’t have had to shorten one side and no spring perches to cut off.
He did, I was about to come down and say the same thing. You can tell because they one he labeled Pass was on the same side as the vent which points up is the Drivers side. I will just chock it up as a joke he wanted to make.
DAAAAANG..... I ain't seen Puddin's channel in a few months, looks like he's doing good now. Going to have to change the channel name ta " Bread Puddin' "
when welding anything cast pre-heat it first (this will also help get out crap that'll mess up your weld) and post heat it to normalize the cast I'll even take a needle chipper to it after it cools to stress relieve the weld never had one crack. done a few custom 4x4 front ends this way for mud trucks.
Use a center punch to locate the two halves you cut because they will not wash off or disappear. Just use the straight edge when clamping to weld to line up the two pieces.
Thank you again for consistent laughs and educating us. May the entire Puddin family have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Theo shirts for the new year???
Great video! I love the S10 build I hope it becomes a series! Puddin you can build mini trucks in every video! I can watch you & Mortkse all day and never be disappointed!
Hey don’t forget about Hustle House Performance Automotive lol we can add flavor and character to the mix lol ha ha at least our (pup) Chevelle would fit in lol Merry Christmas man. Have a good one
Obviously with everything happening this week trying to close on my folks house and the holidays it’s nice to sit by the laptop and have a cold one and watch a Puddin fab shop video which I tried to watch last night but fell asleep. The S10 has always been a favorite of mine along with the early Chevy ll especially with a V8 under the hood the power to weight ratio is great . Keep making everything better and having fun along the way. Merry Christmas and happy new year God love you and the family.
If you remove the axle tube from the center where you welded it on that was not welded from the factory you could cut the axle tube down and then just insert it back into the center part of the axle and you wouldn't have to cut and weld the axle tube together
Hot Damn!!!! It's Puddin Time!!! Merry Christmas to you and your family!!! Oh, man don't stop working on the white stout. At first I wasn't in to the build. But, I like it now. Plus, it's a going to the parts store truck. Edit, I just finished putting that same rearend in a 60's Austin Healey kit car. 🤣
Yep! Luv my L SS 10. I daily it now that I got some of the little things figured out. So much fun for a little truck. Can't wait to see what u got in store for it in the future. C'mon!!
Merry Christmas to the Puddin family all the PFS watchers.
Merry Christmas to you as well!😊
Merry Christmas to you as well
Puddin,
I'm still not seeing any commercials. Halfway through. Does that have anything to do with your analytics?
U too brotha
@@jackgoings8299I think I got your quota of commercials.
Mortske and Puddin making Mondays great.
Amen 😂
Someone’s got to give us all motivation for the work week! Glad he has a second channel to keep us going. Thanks for that puddin.
Sleeperdude on Saturday, Mustie1 on Sunday, Mortske and Puddin on Monday - that's a great long weekend for me!
@@budgetmerchI do agree 100% 😃
@@budgetmerchI totally agree %100. Regular TV sucks anymore other than a few good shows like Gold Rush and The Bearing Sea IMO.

I don't think moisture is the problem. Difference in metals
No moisture in metal. But yea heating cast will help it weld without cracking
You don't have to pre heat just degrees it and weld

Best investment I ever made in the shop is a Drill Doctor. Worth every penny. Sharpens the dullest bits and you don't need an engineering degree to operate it.
The ole Drill Doctor revived all of my drill bits in no time. EXTREMELY EASY to use and it’s a very fast process!

Hey puddin', call that truck the "LS-10"
And if it has the LS trim package it could be the LS-10 LS😅
@@JimFlanagan4206 Say, is that a "light silver" LS-10 LS? That make it an LS LS-10 LS, or maybe an LS-13?
I 8.8 swapped an old truck a few years ago and used your pinion angle video from the old shop to set it up. Thanks Professor Puddin!

"We need to kiss each of those marks with the tape." Hey Maw, Puddin is kissing his rear end.
Merry Christmas. I was anxious about the video this week. Whether you might take the week off for Christmas or not, But I'm glad you put on a video. It always makes me smile and puts joy into my week.

Love that at about 1:13 the video seems to go into Hallmark mode with the blur effect around the perimeter of the screen. So artsy.😄
Thanks Puddin, appreciate all you do.
Puddin we all know you wanted speed holes in your axles and rotors. Trying to act like you made a mistake isn’t flying here 😂
Puddin next to your measuring for spring center if you just measure outside to inside of the leaf springs it gives you center, that way your not fumbling trying to hold the tape awkwardly

I have cut the tubes with a steel tubing cutter, pretty accurate and then clamp to vee blocks to it to center it.
Nothing screams accuracy like the imperial measurement system a tape measure and a Sharpie 😂
America loves fractions!
Use a center punch to locate the two halves you cut because they will not wash off or disappear. Just use the straight edge when clamping to weld to line up the two pieces.
