The Chop House - Sevierville, TN (Still The Best Steak In Sevierville?)

- We made our second visit to The Chop House, in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
Last year, Derrick stated this was the best steak in town. Is that still the case?

Shawnasi, you might need to get an evaluation at a spinal-pain clinic. My Dr decided to put me in one about 6mo. Ago....I can function so much better now....prayers too....
She is seeing a specialist in January, but it's not a spine specialist. She really doesn't have any issues back there, as of yet. This is a cluster of extra veins in her hand, that she was born with.
Hopefully, they can provide some answers.

Yes, they sent her up to the hospital to have an ultrasound on her hand to see if they could see any clots. She forgot to take it off until later.
The way I’ve always thought was that a good steak doesn’t need steak sauce and a bad steak doesn’t deserve it. My wife never eats a steak without A-1 . Great video. Thanks for Sharing!!
The way I look at it, is that it has nothing to do with what the steak needs, and more to do with what someone's personal preference is, as to how to eat it.
Just because I put it on my steak, doesn't mean it needs it. It means I like it. None of the steaks that I put steak sauce on, are bad steaks.
It's no different than putting BBQ sauce on ribs.
Derrick, You are a good husband to Shawnasi! I already knew that but loved hearing you say that you carried the luggage and offered to cut her steak up. I know she is also a good wife to you. Yes, thank you so much! She has always had this issue, and she used to have to go to Winston regularly to see a plastic surgeon. He has retired, and he was one of only a few people in the country who had experience with that condition of hers.
We are kind of on edge about what the specialist will tell her in January. Hopefully, he's familiar with this condition.

Shawnasi, prayers for healing in your hand from the greatest physician our Lord and God. The Chop House has their first location on Kingston Pike Knoxville and this the location we eat at. We live close to Townsend and I like that location the best. We have never had to complain about any of the food, it has always been very good. Hope y'all have a very Merry Christmas.

Yes, I knew there were a couple of Chop House restaurants in the area. This is the only one we have tried, as of yet. Hopefully we can try others.

First of all, it's no one's business at what you eat on your steak, whatever you Like, you do it. I've never understood people who want to voice their opinions on someone else's taste. I dip my thirty dollars steak and honey mustard. The way I see it, I paid for it. I'll dip it in whatever I want. I love your videos. Stay safe, and God bless you always.

We hope so, too. We are just praying the specialist she sees, knows what he's doing. Back in the 1990s, we were told by her doctor, that only he and one other person in the country, really knew much about this condition. I pray that has changed.

Try Voltaren cream on your hand. Find it in the arthritis meds section. My husband used it after knee replacement and it helped with the pain.

Best steak is at Calhoun’s in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg ….the Ale steak. Also in Gatlinburg at Cherokee Grill….the prosperity steak. You definitely have to try these 2 steaks? We have had the ChopHouse sirloin and ribeye steaks and they had absolutely no flavor, but we did LOVE their house salads!
The Cherokee Grill is our favorite in Gatlinburg. We've had the prosperity steak and the ribeye, several times. We actually just did a review there about a month and a half ago. Great experience.
We've also been to Calhoun's, but we got the prime rib.
My experiences with the ribeye at The Chop House, have been amazing.

Just now seeing this on July 10th. I pray that Shawnasi's hand has been healed and restored in Jesus' Name! Or, at the very least en-route to restoration to the original design specs of The Creator. That food looked fantastic! If I can get to PF at Christmas, I'm going here for supper! They may cringe at a "Table for one, please". But, it wasn't my idea to be single at this stage of my life. Her hand still has the issue, but thankfully, it is not hurting her now. Back in February, we did a video of her visit to the specialist, and they basically told her that her options were few. They could do a couple of things, but the procedures would be very painful, and that if the pain had subsided, they recommended waiting.

Bleu cheese is excellent on beef especially along with tomato and red onion for some reason. All those flavora together are amazing together but, yeah, too much bleu cheese can overpower the other flavors.
Yes, she loves to get bleu cheese on her steak. But this was a lot of it, and it just seemed to overpower it.
I love my steak with A1 and ketchup. Like you say just the way I like it.
Exactly! When a person pays for a steak, they should be able to eat it the way they like it, without someone else criticizing or telling them how to do it.
I've never understood people that feel the need to do that.

Love yalls videos and i hate to be contrary but Technically isn't Tanger in Sevierville so Chop House would be Sevierville so is it best steak in Sevierville so what is best steak in "Pigeon Forge Proper" if that be the case

I guess if we have to narrow it down more, I would say The Alamo is the best I've had in Pigeon Forge.
Quit honesty, it used to be easy to distinguish where Pigeon Forge ended and Sevierville began. Now, it all runs together.
