Daniele's entry for the 2009 Guitar Idol competition is an amazing tour de force of stunning guitar technique, brooding Romantic harmony and sophisticated fusion soloing. It's more than just an impressive competition entry, though - it's a really great piece of music, and this Custom Shop package gives you the chance to learn it! I've been listening to this song for over a decade...There isn't a single note that is out of place or not necessary. This is art.

Friend of mine played like this in the late 80’s early 90’s and still to this day amazing and hasn’t played in bands other than B or since famous gone casino bands. Just how it is. He didn’t have UA-cam back than either so never got into it for more exposure.

Got to get my jaw of the floor....Steve Vai was saying that he doesn't listen to many guitar instrumentalists, because "they have to be pretty exceptional"...well, he said he listens to Daniele because "he IS exceptional!" Just thought I would throw that out there. Awesome playing, Daniele, if you read this. And coming from Steve Vai, I think that's saying something (if you like Vai of course).

All these years later I still come back to this over and over again. It is so dark and mesmerising. One of the most beautiful instrumental guitar pieces ever to be recorded.
He is from my hometown in Italy, Rovigo. I met his father at the post office some years ago, as he remembered that I played in a rock band during high-school years, and told me his son became a "great musician". I then took a look at what he played and I remained speechless: he's really an amazing guitar player. I agree, he would deserve much more popularity.
Haha, a slight understatement. He's just written and performed one of the best guitar instrumentals ever. It's up there with Far Beyond The Sun and For The Love of God. Perhaps even superior.
I am sad to say I missed out on years of your music, but thanks to Steve Vai I looked up your music. You are an absolute treasure and inspiration.

It's nice to somone being different... Nowadays everyone sounds the same... Everyone is tapping, everyone is sweeping, but not in the meaning of music, but in the meaning of technical show. Nothing else! This guy uses technique to make music. Beautiful music.

Hi Dani. I've listening this song about a week and it's imposible to not remember my love for my dad. I remember when he dance with me when I was a toddler. At december 24th, he did a cardiac arrest and I tried to do CPR until the ambulence arrived. It didn't come back from that. This song makes me remember my dad with a mixture of feelings, love and pain. Thanks for be a great artist and help me to evoke this. Enjoy your fathers. Cheers!

Never heard of this young cat. I understand is he is from Italy. Pretty damn inpressive, amazing finger tapping. I hear influences, like Vai, Eric johnson, maybe Yngwie, and Holdsworth. but definitly his own style I see he makes funny faces when he hits those high notes-like Vai (ha ha ha!) But that's cool-that makes him a more intresting player! He gets such a beutiful bell-like
singing quality from that Bogner. First guitarist I heard in quite a while who
has actually impressed me.

Che composizione fantastica. Che esecuzione pulita e piena di cura. Suono da vent'anni come hobby ma il cervello non m'aiuta. Al cospetto del talento, mi viene voglia non di diventare un chitarrista migliore, ma proprio una persona migliore. Non so se hai avuto il successo che meriti, ma porcoddio sei una luce in una nazione allo sfascio.
