Tiafoe beat Shelton here, but still placed last in Group B while Ben placed 2nd. Shelton also won the rematch that REALLY mattered at USO QF. Likewise, Tommy Paul beat Shelton in the AO QF & Ben avenged that loss by besting Paul at USO R4 & Tokyo QF.

Why do Americans have to turn everything into a nightclub?! Isn’t good Tennis entertaining enough for you?

The organizer is French , but it might be too much for some , Indeed . I’d rather keep tennis as it is and have that as a side fun

Go be old, cantankerous, & averse to change elsewhere. Everything needs to grow, adapt, innovate & change if it is to survive, including tennis. The sport won't survive by only appealing to a bunch of rich, old, white people busy coughing through long matches in expensive seats at the biggest tournaments.

No, Americans don't. Look at baseball. Not a nightclub. Conventional tennis is *not* entertaining enough. It's super slow. So much dead time. This is 100% better than conventional tennis.

@@kaza2845 Thanks for the sincere answer. Americans are more used to high rates of reinforcement and probably understand the space between rallies as useless. People who know tennis understand the importance of these moments and understand them as part of the game.
