You made that region very enjoyable.. at least for me. At one point I had to move on. First on the other side of the Eve universe, then Wormhole space. And now I dont have time to play anymore. So youtube channels are my only EVE dose i can get at the moment. I did subscribe to your channel early back then because your choice of music, editing and in general your storytelling is very enjoyable and at a very high level in my humble opinion. My one interaction with HTP was actually very honorable. I put up an Astrahus in Kari. HTP had been hired ensure no Citadels were placed in that system, so within a few hours, my corp was wardecced. I got in touch with them, and all I had to do was pay the 50mil for the wardec and they left me alone until I could gather up the Astrahus.
To be fair, I may have had that happen to me. I missed the time it would be available and I actually didn't get a chance to scoop it. So maybe they would have been there waiting?

Could it be that the policy of NRDS opens you guys to perpetual losing, and because only losers will put up will losing indefinitely that's exactly who remains in providence long term?
Do the wilderbeasts give lion a raison d'être? The relationship is most analogous to a predator prey relationship right? So if you think of yourself as a part of the herd that includes all of the PVE carebears in the whole game, you are the weakest and least likely to defend itself in any way. You are in a sense being culled from an overall eve herd. Taking the analogy even further, occasionally a lion gets trampled by your herd of wilderbeasts, but it's still safer than the lions hunting elephants. I guess, to simplify even further, be shit, get hit.
I would really like to know more about how this system (backdooring) works. You think it is possible to achieve with bigger entities in 0.0? how careful would you have to be with your spies to not get caught? or would you like a eve mail for that? ^^

Alticroo So, I like using cheetahs and helios as my HK of choice but that's because I'm cheap (art of poor and all that). Tengu and loki are completely superior hunters.
It strongly depends who's running the fleet. I allow inexperienced hunters to go out and practice and sometimes if i'm not around they get themselves in trouble. If you want though I can make a point of working on etide to demonstrate the point though.

Watching your success in destroying the idiots who failed to adapt lead me to my own adaptations of the black ops platform that not only served my profit seeking pvp facilitating style, but allowed me to constantly thwart your efforts. I killed countless HK's, and we even baited you and got half a dozen of your blops over time. I took it a step further and used blops as a way to more bravely go after fights with a margin less advantageous than those you set up for yourself. We baited wormholers, we baited moderately sized heavier fleets. My killboard and game play so supremely enhanced by hybridizing black ops with a bit more..... gutsy ambitions....while i dont play eve anymore because it turns out i was just using it to get through a divorce, i would totally go back and dust off my shiny shiny sins, just to see if you still come around the target rich provi region. o7.
John Drees I was never too good at making videos. I did try but honestly I felt like I lacked the pure technological propensity most eve players seemed to have. Lol dude you have to understand, the paradigm people had about you was that you were this invincible boogie man. i was just proud to say "we got him!". I am serious about thanking you, blops became the corner stone of my game play. I just no longer have the time to play eve, but I am working on that. Maybe we will meet again, but probably not in provi.

Carebears've had almost 15 years now to figure out how not to die (solution : not fucking up super-super badly!) - and they still fail horribly. You'll mostly just catch the ones making mistakes - but those guys wouldnt bother looking at and understanding the implications of this or other videos. I've seen seasoned super-pilots die because they did neither look at nor use Intel, were neither on comms nor in standing fleet... So I dont fear ratters going 101% aware and careful instantly.
extensive background checks when recruiting, not warping to 0, care when unknown people in local (standing fak-ups can happen too, don't treat each blue as 100% non-threat)
