"Every time I go to that damn place, I try to get a milkshake, and the chick goes "I'm sorry, the shake machine's broken." And I'm like, DAMMIT, IT'S ALWAYS BROKEN!!" - Beavis
@looshkin66 edit you are right about that being rachel in the vid but it is petra that played w/ decemberists. unless now rachel does and i'm completely wrong.
Drums is almost always the instrument that the guy plays if there's only one guy in the band. Bass is often the instrument that the girl plays if there's only one girl in the band (but not as often as the guy/drums thing).
Beavis: Hey, that's not fair! How come she doesn't have to wear a hairnet?! Butt-head: We should get a job at this place. Beavis: Yeah, we don't have to do anything with the customers, we could just sit there and goof off. Butt-head: We could put the hairnets on our nads! Huh huh! Beavis: Yeah, but, uh... I do that at work anyways. Butt-head: You put a hairnet on your nads?! Beavis: Well yeah! You know, they're free!
I too didn't know about this song/video until Beavis & Butt-Head watched it. I agree with Chaos the chicks are totally hot! Finally, the "Old Timer" seriously reminds me of "Bad Grandpa"!
hmm i wonder...when that dog hit their hightest with never say never. did the sisters decide to change hairstyles to avoid confusion since they are a part of triplets..hmm
"hey old miner, why are you drinking red wine at Shakeys?" - Beavis
"This is stupid! Huh huh huh..." - Butt-Head

Hehe yeah... Beavis and Butthead was cool hehe
Loved this song in 1993. Resembles this song in 2016.
Man the 90's were awesome. There smoking hot,'never say never' is even better. HEY OLD TIMER!
"I'm sorry the shake machine is broken"
"DAMMIT, ITS ALWAYS BROKEN"
I was looking for this comment.
Thank you beavis and butthead for bringing me here
Very talented band...loved them.
i've been looking 4 this song for an hour!! i finally found it!!
Have you listened to it in the last 10 years again? If not you're welcome lol
Beavis and Butt-Head brought me here a very long time ago.
The shake machine is still broken.
The moment at 2:15 REALLY makes me nostalgic for the good old days of Grunge. I was even working in Seattle in '94!
i brought me here
BEAVIS ha!😘
Huh huh huh yea!
Is the violinist also in the rentals ? 😮
Petra Haden, yes. Petra and her sister Rachel are the daughters of jazz bass legend Charlie Haden
I miss the 90's :(
i love that dog!
and the refreshments and the decemberists....
I agree...I love them too. Basically because they broke up 10 years ago...that's why. The world was not so ready for their indie rock goodness.
2023 agrees
Dang these were the days
I'm hateful, old and stupid. Part of what I do enjoy is just about everything represented in this video. The song is pretty good too.
saw this video on the channel "Network One" back in the 90's
I have a crush on the bass player 😍
I love the blonde
What a quick eye you have. I had to rewind and pause the video to see him. Right at 1:07.
I remember this from rock video monthly in 1993.. loved then and now
I would love to see them live in 2018!
@ColorsBright
Thats Rachel Haden.........i think i love her!
She's in the decemberists now btw.
I remember seeing this video on Beavis & Butthead. It was hilarious!
Ahhhh the 90’s
YAY!
I forgot how great they were
I love youtube! You can find anything on this site!!!
love it... thank you
Is it just the video or does this song actually sound like it was recorded in someone's garage with a single microphone?
I like it.
Close. It was recorded in the 90s.
That bass player... yummmmm
I swear the drummer is Ryan from the office
Omg your so right its bj novak
@looshkin66
That's Petra Haden actually, and I think she just toured w/ the Decemberists, not an actual band member.
haha! makes me kind of miss working there!
Fryer, fryer, fryer!
Beavis!
ME!!!
@@LouieLewLou1 Oh, yeah...Sorry.
hey old miner!
@looshkin66 edit you are right about that being rachel in the vid but it is petra that played w/ decemberists. unless now rachel does and i'm completely wrong.

Jeez, several beers brought me here after seeing this on Beavis and Butthead about 17 years ago.
yeah i just saw it hahah...it made me look up this song...beavis scratching his balls with the spatula
i remember this one i saw it on Beavis and ButtHead Grunge Is still good even though Kurt is dead he was 2 young
lol...wow...memories
Drums is almost always the instrument that the guy plays if there's only one guy in the band. Bass is often the instrument that the girl plays if there's only one girl in the band (but not as often as the guy/drums thing).
I feel like the only thing that has really changed from the 90s is that we have Social Media and iPhones.
The Clarences love & support That Dog!
did anyone get here from watching daria, then listening to splendora and then finding that dog and cake like?
Beavis: Hey, that's not fair! How come she doesn't have to wear a hairnet?!
Butt-head: We should get a job at this place.
Beavis: Yeah, we don't have to do anything with the customers, we could just sit there and goof off.

Beavis: Yeah, but, uh... I do that at work anyways.
Butt-head: You put a hairnet on your nads?!
Beavis: Well yeah! You know, they're free!
Totally read that in Beavis and Butthead voices.
I must be the only one that saw this vid before it was on B&B
(sort of off topic) I wish they had the music videos on the episodes from the DVD's
Has an old Beastie boys flavor to it
Beavis: I'm sorry sir but the shake machine is broken
swoon Rachel Haden

I too didn't know about this song/video until Beavis & Butt-Head watched it. I agree with Chaos the chicks are totally hot! Finally, the "Old Timer" seriously reminds me of "Bad Grandpa"!

hmm i wonder...when that dog hit their hightest with never say never. did the sisters decide to change hairstyles to avoid confusion since they are a part of triplets..hmm
i did
@logaanross
Wow! Same situation just happened to me.
Is it weird that this is the first time I've heard of these guys? (Especially since I listen to a lot of indie bands no one knows about)
All this 90's alternative kids became the hipsters of the 2000's. I hate hipsters!! (and the video was directed by the hipster god,Spike Jonze)
shitty lyrics too.
This is stupid huh huh huh
would anyone like a that dog. on a stick?
that dog "Old Timer"
90's were great.... but so fucking weird!
@chrispollock Anna is hotter!
Better than Her.
This is extremely derivative of Brit-Pop
Absolutely horrible
