I like how you show your lost games too, I already knew the result as I follow your lichess profile on a regular basis but watching you is a treat and hearing your voice is cherry on top
Yeah I was thinking he should’ve just pushed a pawn and challenged it getting it off the board early on before the rook moved to d8 forming battery with Black Queen
thank you for your content! its something I look forward to. I quite like this video as well... watching you analyse a game played by someone with the help of an engine is one thing, but to watch and listen to the thought process whilst playing is also great to learn from and to think along. Please do keep making videos like these as well!!!
Antonio I was beginning to wonder if you ever lost any of these Lichess games. Difficult moment to assess when one is no longer able to go for the win and it's time to be holding the draw in hand. He had nice pieces for his purposes. Bring on the next one.
I very much enjoy watching your rapid games. Your commentary is excellent and so is your strategy. Though I advocate for your wins, I think there is value in showing where your opponent made better moves than you did. We can only really learn from our losses, and such is the advantage of playing higher rated opponents. 🙂
Antonio, in poker they talk about 'tells', body language that gives insight into someone's innermost thoughts. What is the significance of your frequently used 'very interesting'. Perhaps something like "this is more complex than i thought" or "I am still confident of my position but i am relying on instinct rather than analysis". Great video as always.
It seems to me that Antonio played too aggressively within a drawn position, which nearly always results in turning your draw into a loss unless your opponent is inferior.
You should play h4 while queen was on g file.Anyway, really good game. You got too cosy when you had more space and try to bully the rook with bishop. After Bf4 you lose tempo and direction of the game and he counter you. But,really good start and buildup.Next time will be better.Thumbs up.
was playing chess in a beantown bar last night when they announced Vance as Trump's running mate. funny thing nobody looked up. i'm iffy on whether the bar's reaction would have been the same if Carlsen, Yasser, Agadmator or a Botez had popped up on the screen.
The moment when you play a chess game, see a mate, deliver it nicely but during the analysis, the engine suggests b4# instead of a Qb4+ with one move later mate. Hurts so much...
I was about to say. I couldn't understand why he didn't just swap queens and save his bishop, but clearly it was a blunder. Though the game at that point would not have been favoring Antonio as material was even and black controlled a lot more squares. Probably lost no matter what.
Hey Agad, you probably don't remember because it's been a long time, but about 5 or 6 years ago I asked if you would make a series covering Alekhine vs Capablanca world chess championship match and you said you would. Are there any plans to do this still?
@@philipsaoud244 Yeah, but with so few material and in that specific situation, keeping the bishop was most probably stronger and giving more chances of winning. The only compensation for its sacrifice was more trouble.
Seems like you commit yourself to offensive moves I thought you would’ve been doing well just to challenge and try to get rid of his passed d pawn on d4 instead you went all out on attacking his king with your Queen and Bishop Bishop back to c1 would’ve been a good defensive move I guess as is often the case the more aggressive player gives their opponent opportunities for good counterplay Ok Agadmator Enjoy your Day
Not necessarily Agadmator drops any game I’m watching and enjoying of course we all like seeing classical great games from top GMs but I enjoy watching Antonio doing his thing he’s a pretty good player 2200 something a lot better than my elo 1192
@@michaelmassaro4375 yaah its ok if he posts those once in a whike for a change... But when he posts his video more then GM's game then there is a problm.....
Agadmator does his best to bring relevant GM games to our attention and for our entertainment he’s also a player himself just as many watching are most of us enjoy watching his games go play your own games maybe that’s more exciting for you
I still prefer the "something something" calculation method Antonio!
Antonio becoming GM before Levy will be the moment of the decade
Speak it into being brother!
ya hope so
Antonio is GM of hearts already
Like people said about Rashid Nezhmetdinov: Better be a non-GM legend than a non-legend GM
The sentimental value of Antonio winning the games has really caught our hearts. Sad to see him loss, good game though.
Man, you should make these as a playlist. Wonderful to learn for us all.
Yes please #suggestion

"Somthink somthink" is definitely my life motto in general and especially when playing chess
love this series - Antonio - highly highly educational and entertaining - just excellent stuff - thank you
I was screaming to get rid of that passed pawn while the chance was there.
Seeing the king trapped, I was screaming "watch the back rank mate!"
Yeah I was thinking he should’ve just pushed a pawn and challenged it getting it off the board early on before the rook moved to d8 forming battery with Black Queen
lots of screaming going on...

I was screaming take the pawn, but you didn't hear me.
Same lol

Sometimes you can't just ignore those threats, against a strong defender, too!
bishop to d7 was played by magnus in a game and since then it has picked pace, pranesh vs carlsen
It seems to me that Antonio played too aggressively within a drawn position, which nearly always results in turning your draw into a loss unless your opponent is inferior.
Loving these series. Look forward to more mate

Great game. Very instructive.
And in this position it was something something
Love u agad
It was a good fight. He found the right moves at the critical moments it would seem.
Can you please cover the ongoing biel masters classical tournament?
A decent game with decent moves, decent opening and decent endgame. !!

You should always push Harry. Good game. I'm enjoying your games more than the rest of you videos.
anecdotal but I started encountering the fried liver more often after you started posting games using it
Love these. I wish I was this magnanimous in defeat…😅
2:24 e5 pone is up for grab.....with knight....if he bring rook you always have the d4
Great game. Well played. 🍻👍🏻
I love when you play

I looked at the guy's rating and thought 'this might not end so well for our hero'

Bjeere Jonas Buhl-Vaishali from Biel Challenger today
Pragg-Mishra from Biel Masters
Very nice game
Looking forward to the next video.
A worthy opponent who stopped Agadmator's path to 20 unbeatable streak.
Well on the way to 2400. Go for it buddy.
Why did you give up your bishop?
A mistake his only option might’ve been trading Queens than moving the Bishop to safety
WE GOT OUR DOUBLE QUESTION MARK ❤❤❤😂😂😂
Stockfish says the attack is over back up and play D 😅
Wow! You’re so close from GM!! 😮
I screamed at Qh5 move 😱
Awesome game, your humility is something we can all learn from

Why give up the bishop on f4?
Miscalculation imho. It happens to all of us.
True he didn’t have he could’ve traded queens and moved the Bishop
He noted that he was still pushing for a win.
@@philipsaoud244 Yeah, but with so few material and in that specific situation, keeping the bishop was most probably stronger and giving more chances of winning. The only compensation for its sacrifice was more trouble.
@@HalDanGhor, correct. It was a mistake. Antonio was merely explaining his thought process, as flawed as it was in this case.
Why you didn't you protect your rook ?
Y dun Queen capture on f5?
18:34 he didn't see that CM coming?
You gotta give Harry a chance!

Good luck ❤
I just wonder why you didn't trade Queens after Qf5!! You played Qh5 it was a straight out piece blunder
Please hit the 👍
Queen should move to h3, so that can deliver e6,+
Why didn't he just capture the queen and move the bishop back
Antonio is Tal reincarnated attack attack attack 😅I’m joking but yeah he wants to play for win not caring too much about drawing
These 1200elo chess game is all about knowing chess rules and how pieces work🥴🥴🥴
14:40 Why not just trade Qs instead of lose a B?
Like these games
I think you kinda gave up towards the end but interesting game
Premature ill advised attack he could’ve played a bit more conservatively he gave the opportunities for his opponent to get some decent counterplay in
So that's the streak
#Show pragg vs Mishra
Why give up the bishop? Why not just trade queens?
Oh shit, I am late🥲
think v is v not v not w here. Always interesting games
Heeey, another game!
Good game!
Why didn’t you take his queen and preserve your bishop? Just QxQ.
I think this is the first game i've seen you lose 😢
Never use 'A' with most. Title should be "The most worthy opponent."
I think a most worthy opponent is justifiable and sounds ok using “the” sounds like it’s putting too much emphasis on
great game though
