More modern tec for your dad to play with an interesting one Nick i still farmers using small square balers and a bale sledge behind .....old school way.
Old wooty absolute brain off knowledge blokes by far one of the greatest salesman in the industry and is an absolute genuine bloke. Was a pleasure working with him at pytchley when it was deere. Did he manage to sell you it👀👀
Nick, the Puma’s are a great tractor. Very user friendly and easy to service, the Baler looks good apart from the process of loading the net wrap - Most other balers are far simpler to reload rolls of net.
Impressive bit of equipment. Nice to see stuff can be manually overridden if the electronics go wrong! Nice to get some review videos now youre getting more subscribers on board the channel
He said makes 4 to 6ft bales but what happens if you finish up the collecting and there's only say a 2ft bale in there, can it still wrap and eject that?
Hi Nick, enjoyed the demo from a non-farmer perspective. You are interested in the tractor? I thought that you bought the TM instead of a Case? It has got me wondering - no criticism implied - how many tractors does a farm need? I know that there is a range of needs and you need some backup. How many is enough?
Ah now that is a good question 😂😂 If we ever bought a Case it would be to replace the Deere , so would need to be as much HP , but I’m not sure how likely that would be at present but who knows in future now our dealers have turned red 🤷♂️ I think running a modern machine alongside our older ones makes sense though!
Makes sense to me too, especially as you want to keep your Fords. Thanks for replying: I think that the laughing faces told me almost as much as your words! So, you can’t have too many tractors, then? 🤣 nothing wrong with an extra tractor!
If memory serves me well, that particular baler is exceptionally good value and simple to maintain and use. Pity they don't modify to accommodate a big film roll, then it would be damn near perfect.
That’s some awesome rig. Why did you chose 4 ft and not 6ft bales. Would less bales make things easier for collecting and storing . All the best for harvest 2021
You’ve made a tidy job of that field Nick, nice clean cut and nothing left behind 👍🏼

Always nice to have a go in shiny new gear 😁 seemed to make a good job and nice to have a moisture meter on as well 👍👍

Try a McHale next nick good reliable balers, although I would get a conventional and flat 8 system you could max out on the sale value of your hay

That’s a smart outfit right there 👌
Hi nick great vid as always...when do u think you will start combine ing
Thanks Mitch, probably 2nd or 3rd week of August 🌾
Wouldn’t be a bad purchase how many bales did you make
Probably can’t justify it at the mo but hoping to do more grass in future, only doing around 50 acres or so, that tractor though would suit us well 😎
Grate video
Nice Baler, but the sound from the baler Controller 🙈
Nick Always used to wind Mr W up about being red and black!
That case combination looked fierce well in the field.Would you be interested in both machines? ?
More the tractor than the baler but yes 👍
Who put the bale in the ditch lol
If i rowed up with a haybob, i'm pretty sure my contractor would take one look and drive off lol
Why did father not come out to play..?
👍👌🇨🇦❤️
You get loads more baler from a class round baler and its not as hard 2 put the new roll of net no ever
Interesting hearing your thoughts Joe 👍
