- This is a quick repair of a Colzar 15" beverage fridge suffering the E3 error (smile.amazon.com/Colzer-Bever.... I couldn't find anything that looked like a parts diagram, any parts, or get any response back from the manufacturer on what to do to fix it. Sorry, I didn't actually make a parts diagram
You need a new 10K thermistor, smile.amazon.com/dp/B086YD9L28 should fix it. E3 seems to be the sensor on the coils, I think. So that was the red one in my case, your mileage may vary, but it's probably the same sensor on both. Splice in the new one(s) and you should be back in business. I'd recommend heat-shrinking them because of the location to the coils.
Also, bonus tip on how to take out the trays at 01:05 ... don't just lift, lift and GENTLY bend outward from the rail and hold them on the sides.
I want to thank you for this repair video. I have a Colzer wine fridge which had the E3 error. Followed your instructions on how to replace the low temperature sensor (which I purchased from Amazon as you suggested). Now works perfectly!!! I can’t thank you enough. Saved me lots of $$!!
Heck yea! Glad I was able to help you out!
This didn’t fix my E3 error code, is there a second sensor somewhere?
There are 2 - one is the white wires (the one inside of the fridge area. The other is the red wire, which is attached to the coils to ensure they're cooling. I'm not sure if they overloaded the error code or not, but that would be the next place I'd look. Let me know if you find out more details!
Yup, it was the other sensor thanks! I noticed that the little computer fan seems to run 24/7, even when the compressor/cooling is off. Is that normal?
Nice! Glad you got it.
As for the other fan, I don't know. The more I see the assembly of these systems and the more I believe I was ripped off 😂
Haha totally, same here..
