I actually saw this type of tree at Walmart about 8 years ago, I had to touch it to see if it was real, they are so beautiful. My daughter in law bought one about 5 years ago, and it’s my favorite tree ever.

Thank you so much for this video. I loved the tree before I saw this set-up, getting into the detail really has helped me make up my mind. It so reminded me of my trip to Austria and Vienna for the Christmas markets. Real trees were everywhere that looked just like this.
I'm looking outside my window at five real Christmas trees. And they have the same shape as the artificial one. Top third much thinner than bottom section. So wow 😍 very realistic looking for sure. Can't wait for you to decorate it ☺️.

That’s a great looking tree, we bought Balsam Hill last year and it was the best thing we did to tell you the truth. The top of the tree is made a bit sparse on purpose, I believe, because it looks much more natural that way. To tell you the truth, if you didn’t tell anyone that it’s a fake tree I doubt they’d notice unless on close inspection.

Our tree and house are decorated now, and I know my wife will throw a fit if I buy it now. Hopefully Balsam Hill will have an after Christmas sale and I will get it then. But not a prelit because my current tree is, well was a prelit tree and I couldn't ever find the burned out or missing bulbs that caused a couple of sections to not light. I spent hours this year looking and then cutting out all the lights and cords. My arms look like I had a fight with my cat LOL. Anyway, again I thank you for the link to this video. I remember when you unboxed a frasier fir for Balsam Hill a couple of years ago and it was gorgeous, and this European fir tree is just as beautiful Chris!! I love your videos and your home is so nostalgic and gorgeous, love the dark blue walls. The popcorn garland with cranberries so gorgeous, and the oranges slices just brought it all together. that tree is so gorgeous..i know I've given them grief before about being overpriced but I'd pay for that tree because Christmas is my favorite and I put up my tree and decore first of November. So it's worth the money to me because it's out for 3 whole months.
The first of November in my country it's considered bad luck to put your tree up until the second weekend in December don't you get fed up with the tree and is the holiday made to feel so long away in November

Go get you a rolling stand for your European fir. I bought this tree too and using the roller makes it easier to fluff and put lights on your tree. And place it exactly where you want it.

TIP……….Always put a piece of collapsed cardboard under the tree stand before you put the tree together. It allows for easily sliding the tree out from the wall to fluff the branches, as well as decorating the tree, and then sliding it back near the wall where you want it. Once you add a tree skirt you won’t see the cardboard. 😊 🌲
I needed this yesterday setting mine up! I put it all together and fluffed and then I couldn’t move it, so I had to take the top two sections off to move it.
Great job (explanation/lighting/audio/etc...) and such a lovely tree. I perfer the real thing myself, but even I have to admit this tree is absolutely STUNNING! 😍

Such a beautiful tree!! Thank you for the pointers, I have the Sanibel 6.5" tree from Balsam Hill and all the decorations are Balsam Hill. Expensive but worth every penny. Love the shape of your tree, it looks realistic, and love the sparce top, it gives realism.

Hi Chery, I chose an unlit tree just because I was purchasing two Balsam Hill trees and I was trying to save a little money. Prelit trees do save time when decorating the tree though - but I also don’t mind putting on the lights 🎄🙂 - Christopher

I bought a Balsam Hill three years ago and it was the Blue Spruce....I love it, but its a little skimpy in girth. Once I fill it in with floral picks it doesn't look so skimpy.

I hate when a tree moves across a floor or scratches a floor. Our tree is tiny… but a beautiful realistic tree from another well known company. I bought a European Fir a few years ago from Balsam Hill and it really is nice for an artificial tree. Mine is the smaller 5'6" version though.
I bought one July 2019 it's the best 🎄 ever. Love your videos. Xx

Balsam Hill by far and large do the best artificial Christmas trees. Saving to buy one too.
