Wuthering Waves (simplified Chinese: 鸣潮; traditional Chinese: 鳴潮; pinyin: Míng Cháo; lit. 'Sound Tide') is a free-to-play action role-playing game developed and published by Kuro Games. It was released on May 23, 2024. Being an open world gacha game, Wuthering Waves has been compared to other titles such as Genshin Impact, but aims to emphasize combat more than its predecessors.
Wuthering Waves is set in a futuristic post-apocalyptic world after a catastrophe called the Lament wiped out most of humanity and caused unknown beings and monsters to appear. However, humanity soon adapted to the threat and over time rebuilt civilization. The story follows the amnesiac Rover, who has awoken from a deep slumber and sets out to explore this new world. Wuthering Waves is set in an open world. The player controls the protagonist, the Rover, as well as recruited units called Resonators, which are split into 4-star and 5-star rarities. The endgame content features modes where characters can be used in a series of combat challenges.

Hopefully everyone adopts this sentiment if it's fiscally sensible for them to do so. I did $25 and if 1.1 is awesome, I'll drop a bit more.
If you want to get a lot of convene (banner pull) currencies ‐ i.e. radiant tide, forging tide, etc. - then you're going to have to spend something since grinding for those would take insanely long. Look at it this way, it's 1600 astrite per Convene x10 and grinding you're looking at 5-40 astrite per environmental puzzle, chests, and exploration quest with the average landing around 10.
Quality work here man. Love the way you laid out your logic and then gave recommendations based on the spender type. Wish more videos were like this. Too much “it’s good but you decide if it’s good for you.” And not enough objective value discussion based on other available resources. Subbed.

I know you're technically correct in your lunite-to-resources scoring - but the majority of players will value lunite far higher than resources that we get from spending waveplates. Realistically the lunite subscription will have far more value than the insider channel. A graph that only reflects pull-value would have been nice.

Battlepass weapons will lose value after a year. If its like genshin and if they give away free event weapons.
Im waiting for a support/shielder in this game. I want a character that can prevent stagger so my DPS can dish out combo without interruption. I know dodging and countering is a thing in this game but im into brute forcing my way out of things ahahahaha. Thats me you do you.
