Thank you so much for covering this area. It's truly refreshing to see a UA-camr cover it so authentically. love it. This road is called Newmarket Road, or Science Lab Road, is one of Dhaka’s busiest and most significant hubs. This four-way road connects key institutions like Dhaka College, Eden College, Dhaka City College, and Dhaka University while serving as a gateway to the city’s largest markets for clothes, jewelry, books, and more. It’s also a major transit point for local buses traveling across the city.
The area gets busy after 11:30 a.m., attracting people from all over the country who come to shop, explore, and experience its vibrant energy. New Market, Chandni chawk, Gausia market offers everything from trendy clothing and stunning jewelry to everyday essentials, while Nilkhet’s book market caters to students and readers alike. Street hawkers, rickshaws, and the lack of traffic rules make the congestion intense, yet the allure of finding everything in one place keeps people coming back.
Though chaotic and often overwhelming, this area remains a treasure trove for locals and visitors alike. Its unique mix of educational institutions, bustling markets, and unmatched convenience makes it a beloved yet the moooost frustating part of Dhaka life.

The place is crowded because there is a variety of clothing and all the types of household and educational material stores in one place and with the cheapest price available in the town. Usually, such places are crowdy in almost all the populated countries. However, for quiet place, you can visit Gulshan 1 or 2, Banani, Mirpur DOHS, and Uttara. You can also visit south Asia's biggest shopping mall, Jamuna Future Park. Last but not least you can visit outside Dhaka like Cox's Bazar, Saint Martin Island, Bandarban, Sajek, Rangamati, Sundarban etc.

Give a visit to Jahangirnagar University and National Monument (60 minutes travel from Dhaka) on a Friday. You'll get so many options of Vorta, chicken, duck, beef, mutton, fishes and so many Bangladeshi foods at Bot Tola. Although, all the shops do not maintain proper hygiene, you may eat at Nurjahan Hotel. Some snacks options are also available there. Also, you'll get a touch of rural area and pure nature at the university premises. You may also find migratory birds there. Have fun, enjoy your stay! ❤

Dhaka is the capital city for more then 200 million people so yeah it will be filled with vehicles and pedestrians. Morning is perfect time for walking.
If you exclude only city based country, e.g. Singapore, then Bangladesh is the most densely populated country.

I noticed that you always show the poor and congested side of Dhaka, focusing on overpopulated and unplanned areas. I agree that Dhaka is the most densely populated city in the world and not as planned or vibrant as cities in other countries. However, Dhaka also has planned and affluent areas.
You should explore those places and show the world that Dhaka is not as poor as they think.
