The sprayer I use is a 10 foot bom, and a 15-gallon tank on my four-wheeler. It has nothing like this sprayer, I wish I could use something like this sprayer just once. Great video.
I drove a Hagie 470 high tractor for my Dad in the 70's. First of all, it was red and white. 40 ft factory boom, but we extended them to 50 ft. It had a 275 gal tank. Had a hydraulic drive train, 2 or 4 wd. used it for weeds, bugs, liquid fertilizer, etc. The tank was tall and thin so it fit down between the rows of corn. That helped it have a lower center of gravity. It wasn't a heavy duty machine like the Fendt, or any of todays sprayers. That sprayer is where I "learned" to weld, if want to call it that. It would go just over 6 mph if you had a steep hill and a healthy tailwind! No cab. We ran booms on the back always. Dad always said he hated driving into the spray.
