You should try phase-change material Honeywell PTM7950. It comes in as a sheet, lasts longer, performs works better than traditional pastes and there is no pump out effect. For the power section and vrams, I suggest applying Upsiren U6 Pro or UX Pro thermal putty.
Why not replace the thermal pads? Those things are completely melted ..
Asus uses kp5 thermal putty which doesn't need to be replaced until it dries out
@@pranchal7713 you can clearly see on the video that the thermal putty is dried out
It looks like it is dried out but actually it just seeps out and looks dried,same as what happens to thermal paste

Hey! Glad I found your video, Ive had this Asus Tuf F15 laptop for a few years and it finally went WRONG with my gaming and caused endless stuttering. I believe this thermal paste is the reason why…I’ve tried everything else lol
It bothers me so much that the bottom case patterns for ventilation holes but only a small part of that are actually holes for ventilation. I get that it's for structural rigidity but come on a bit more holes here and there should be fine
I'm planning to make a DIY cooling pad with dust filter, will it work also?

Sup man, just wanna ask when should I apply a new thermal paste for my laptop (we have the same laptop btw). Mine's two months old should I apply a new one right away?
If you experience bad thermals already, you can go around 6 month mark, but most common suggestion and every year

Were these temperatures taken in turbo mode?
I noticed other places also have thermal paste in the heatsink beside the cpu gpu area, do we need to replace those?

once you remove the cooler you should repaste everything including the vrams

Yeeeow! we have the same laptop!!! just asking though, 80-85 above thermals is normal? I mean, I play AC origins right now in xbox pass and sometimes I get that thermals. Is that normal? or should I apply the paste now? just cleaned the fans and vacuum it but did not remove the gold part though cause I'm kindah nervous to do it. hehehe anyway, my question is 80-88 thermals playing high graphics in AC is still okay?
nah, 88 looks quite high tbh. 80 is sweet spot if the thermals are working correctly.
Yo bro I love ur content and I have one question how you dont have any fps stutters in fortnite for example I have the same laptop and I have big fps drops from like 180 to 25 fps for 1 second
i try far cry 6 on this spec, it not to bad with 50-75fps at low settings fsr quality and the fan so loud

i have planned to replace thermal paste on mine at home too, but i still concern about warranty void if removing the "!" sticker on top of heatsink screw(s) (on a random original direction), i also couldn't go to the store i bought laptop for thermal paste replacement for busy time of school 😕
It is what it is, you really have to do it, maybe you should just wait until warranty void but upgrading it on your own is much better choice.
I have the same laptop, And I have a problem where if in battery mode the CPU is stuck at 1GHz until I turn off the Nvidia GPU. Is yours the same?
I don't think it's stuck, that's just normal as the system optimized it for battery mode! Same as mine as well and most of other gaming laptops out there!
turning on and off the charger works for me
otherwise my cpu (ryzen 7 4800h) is stuck at 1400mhz
