Wow. A marvellous headbanging Modern Metal tune. An absolutely killer riff and the sweet lamenting melody over the top of a driving metal arrangement is a total winner. Very polished production makes for an excellent listening experience. It's a must-own. My Score: Excellent 5*
I've listened to pretty much everything you guys have done but I just keep coming back to this one. It's almost hauntingly beautiful and melancholic. I've never been good at interpreting lyrics, but it feels like a song written about watching someone you care about go down a path that leads to bad places, and nothing you say helps them see they're heading towards disaster, or maybe it's about someone in a relationship where their partner is turning into someone they can't keep being with, draining them of happiness, and no matter what you say to try and make them change, you're just stuck watching them change into someone unrecognizable. At some point, you just have to cut your losses and move on, even if that means leaving behind everything you've ever known. Maybe I'm being a bit too literal when trying to understand the lyrics.

Eventually I realized the opening riff had some kind of resemblance to Markie Music's cover of Descent into Cerberon, the theme of Quake 2. Not that I think it's plagiarized, just really threw me for a loop.
