Virus TI does not age over the years. I understand that over the years people become lazy and sit at the computer with a bunch of VSTs and use hardware synthesizers less and less. But I’m not all and I just don’t use VST at all. This is an evil that requires everyone to buy 10 new ones with big discounts on Black Friday and then all this usually lies as a dead weight on the hard drive. And so every time, the computer becomes overgrown with VST plugins like in the jungle.
But there have been and will be hardware synthesizers, and they are much more pleasant to me, including tactilely, than any of the modern plug-ins. I also like the sound of the virus.
Even if sooner or later a plugin appears that can emulate it (I’m talking about TI!), it will, like everything before it, consume 100% of the resources of the most modern processor. And that's when people start going crazy and every year they buy a new computer with a new processor. This suggests that the world has gone crazy. The virus does not consume CPU resources and cost me only 750 euros. Works like clockwork and I don't wait for Black Fridays. I use it like all my other hardware synths. :-)

Virus is great with and without pedals. It has excellent internal effects. But with external pedals you can get additional features. I changed 3 op amps in the virus for the best of the best. Now the linear output of the virus produces an amazing signal.
