I just wanna say, i’m happy about this new podcast. I was sad when skypod stopped . I’m very careful of the things I absorb because it will reflect on my beliefs and perspectives, that’s why I’m quite choosy on what I listen/watch. This podcast is full of wisdom, not hate, not for the clout. Now i have a new podcast to look forward to.
I’m currently in a relationship, and after listening to this episode, I couldn’t help but feel a bit sad. I’m in a phase where I’ve been giving my all-dimmed my own glow just to make him happy. While I’m still trying to take care of myself, I’ve neglected my health and gained a lot of weight. I’ve even started to physically resemble him (he’s on the chonky side, lol-like a cat!). I’ve stopped taking selfies because I no longer find myself attractive, and even our intimacy has faded-probably because we’ve both gained so much weight. I hate it. Your discussion about attractiveness and staying in love really resonated with me. I’m also looking forward to hearing your insights on financial management in relationships. What truly hit me hard in this episode was when Atty mentioned that a man knows if he’s going to marry someone. Deep down, I don’t think he sees me as that person, and it breaks me.
I love this episode. Coach Vee can be the 4th member of this fabulous trio. I love both Inka and Aryn for who they are and what they share to their listeners. Very authentic and helpful. Attorney, however, is a good kontrapelo to these 2 gorgeous ladies. Am so addicted to watching new epi every week. Same level I was addicted to SATC decades ago. Congratulations, guys.
I love how Inka emphasised that she and her boyfriend were attracted to each other but did not make a move because they are both in relationships. So yessss CHEATING IS A CHOICEEEEEE 😒😒😒

My husband and I have been married for 9 years. We would go out on dates every week during the first 2 years of our marriage. When we had our daughter, our date nights were significantly reduced. To make up for it, we’d stay up late on weekends binge watching shows and midnight snacking together. We realized we didn’t have to go out to have date nights.

MY FAVE EPISODE SO FAR💗💗💗
My husband and I have been in a relationship for 10 years now (almost 11), and I would say that staying in love takes a lot of understanding and conscious effort.
Note: This applies both ways.
In a long-term relationship, you grow together. You see both the best and the worst in your partner, and it’s inevitable to compare them to the person they used to be -- or even to other people who remind you of the old version of your partner.
To stay in love and avoid nasty behaviors like cheating, (1) you must continuously remind yourself how much you love and respect them, (2) understand how they became the person they are now, and (3) choose them even when they seem unlovable.
Above all, the greatest effort you can make to stay in love is to have self-respect, practice self-care, and nurture self-love. 'Cause you still need to show and remind your partner how you want to be treated, even if you’ve been together for a long time.
