I was doing research on the Honda Helix and found this video. I didn't learn much but it did give me an idea of what it will be like to have one! Someone is selling one near me so I might just pick it up!
@@ronsteitz4535 really.i hope that when my muffler comes in I can ride without so much noise around me ... that's awesome that you own a Honda adv 15O. Sweet ride
Working on another vidio...my fan motor craped out on me...replacing the water pump thermostat and fan ...i cant wait to get her running again ..i miss my helix
Very cool. A lot of videos have music or cut out the audio, so it's cool to actually hear the bike here. I'm going to finally buy a Helix tomorrow! Super excited! I can't tell from the video, is yours blue or black? Mine is dark blue, which I haven't seen before, so I'm wondering if it's been repainted.
Well honestly not really...the years I recommend would not make to much difference since the Helix are built the same ...now trying to find one with low miles is kinda hard to get ...but if you do find one buy it ...you can't go wrong .. Helix are built tough and are still around.
Pnwoods i strongly recommend buying one ..i would rather sell my truck than to sell my helix ..i rather spend 8 dollars on gas for my helix compared to 70 on my truck ..plus the ride is without any words on my helix the best that i have ever ridden...nothing comes close..
The day dreamer I have no problem going 75 or a bit over on good days and have not experienced any problems with the tires rated at j. 62 mph... honestly the is the bike to have ...
@@ruberduck11 TY, I just came home with a 95 black Helix with 950mi on it,,,,Do you know of any good groups out there that I can talk to people and learn about this bike? TY 4 your time
The day dreamer there is a group in Facebook called helix group in which I get help from ...they are extremely helpful ...and you get to talk to people around the world....you should check them out ...
Wasting money on those oils. Shell Rotella 15-40 T4. What did you do to make it go 75 mph, they a rpm limited to do 70 mph and the stock tires are only rated to 62 mph. Service manual states do not exceed 80 mph. Would like to know.
Hi darrell grisham ...well my helix would not go past 70 or 72 miles when i bought her...i installed a new sparkplug called pustar spark plug it gives it more power..it added 2 miles more faster than before ...i only added synthetic oil becouse the regular tends to burn quickly...and put nitrogen air instead of regular air ...it stays even all the time ..it rides lighter and bumps feels....well less hard hits and and has a awesome ride ..last thing i did was clean the valves by using intake valve cleaner made by crc sold at most. Auto parts ...it cleans your internal valves and more with out tearing out your motor...i sprayed about 9 or 12 shots into the carb while the engins on and with a little gas cuz it cuts off on idle ..you can feel the differnce once done and runs faster ..
Just subbed, more Honda helix vids please!

Honestly. I highly recommend one ... It's a major gas' savor and fun to ride ....
Currently I own a 2022 Honda ADV 150 which is also water-cooled. At 55 mph my scooter is very quiet and passerby’s think I’m on electric.👍

Sounds like you need a new exhaust system. 🤨 My original 1986 was whisper quiet once speed desired was achieved.👍
