@@saidivya4789it’s up to you! I usually use these prompts in a journal session at the end of each month as a part of reflecting and setting new intentions✨ but if you’re just starting out with shadow work, I suggest doing this more regularly to practice becoming aware of these things in yourself! You can even use them as little prompts whenever you journal~
It's really refreshing to see someone around my age (presumably) talking about Jungian psychology in such an informative and digestible way :) I wish your channel much well-deserved success.
This is the exact question I ve been pondering a while ago. I came up with the fisrt answer you provided. The rest two is kinda insightful for me. I've never think of the benifit of jealousy before. Already subscribed.
Thank you, that means a lot!🫶🏻 Yes, I also find it so helpful to dig into the more negative emotions and figure out what they're trying to tell me, especially since we tend to avoid the more uncomfortable feelings which are still just as important~ I appreciate the support😊
Thank you, I really appreciate it! I’m glad you find it interesting as well, I try to look at all emotions as having two sides to them, a mature and immature expression and it helps a lot✨ especially when learning to trust yourself and follow your own path in life, it’s all just little nudges towards our best, even if it’s not yet expressed very productively🥲 thank you for the compliment & support☺️💗
Thank you Zoe for this well delivered message I am an aspiring surgeon and I could really use a video with examples to help navigate the "shadow" , as im honestly finding trouble doing so off of memories..
Thank you! Your comment inspired me for the video I'm currently working on, about developing your inferior cognitive function-- this is a part of your function stack, and the least conscious of them which is why it acts as a backdoor to your shadow. It reveals the nature of your shadow, and the area you may experience the most internal & external conflicts in your life, and Jung really stresses developing this inferior (or aspirational) function to integrate your shadow & live towards your unique potential✨ It's also one of my favorite topics because it gives structure to shadow work, which you're right, otherwise is quite intangible. As an example, my inferior function is my extroverted thinking (Te) which relates to productivity, judgement, and managing the external environment-- the single area I feel I struggle most in haha😄 It represents your "untapped potential" because it compliments your dominant function, both covering each others' blindspots that would cause self-sabotage.. Developing your inferior function is also a lot more practical and easy to focus on, and will have the greatest impact on integrating your shadow! I hope this helps, and also hope to explain in better in my next video. I really appreciate the feedback☺️
@@itszoewinter thats actually an eye-opening perspective! I’m familiar with the concept yet I never paired the two! Moreover I cannot wait for the next videos, Thank you so much

I saw your original reply and found it very insightful and spot on! Ignoring your message would be ignorant and I really appreciate you taking the time to write such a thought out response~ “I see people as they gravitate towards one or another without trusting themselves enough to follow their own course”- I’ve noticed this a lot as well, especially online when you hear the same things repeated over and over again only with added emotion but not thought. I think you’ve worded this beautifully and it’s given me a lot to think about, thank you!😊

It would be really nice if you made a video about how to do shadow work:)
Loved it! Also, I wanted to ask, how often do I work with these prompts?
Excuse me but may i ask what is shadow work?😂
@@Diana4everMoonI’ll plan to do a video on this next, thank you! Let me know if you have any specific questions on shadow work so I can include it☺️🫶🏻
