the JWST drawing is interesting. It was planned with a bigger mirror and to to launch 10 years earlier than it actually did. Webb raun Nasa in the early years helped to make it what it is. So some credit is ok. But a science instrument should be named after a scientist. And Herschel would be a rather worthy candidate.

I think there Are plenty of great insights here, not the least of which his playful mind leads him to discover infrarød and ultrafiolett lighter... Something that NASA apparatnik that got that telescope names after hun likely never was remotely close to...
