Get the precise horizontal center of the wall, and as @ballashoes writes, find the center of the short side of the tile and put a mark, line that mark up with the center line (while at its 45 degree angle), and that is where you should lay that first tile. This is by far the best explanation out there of both this technique, and of another technique if the first doesn't result in perfectly even end cuts. ua-cam.com/video/nRCYcPN5xkc/v-deo.htmlsi=bwLjfFRLMqYb4EE9
I want to pull my Fn hair out trying to figure this pattern/cuts n next thing you know I'm laughing my ass off watching this!! You did good bro !! I havent even started laying in its been over 3hrs !!!😂😂😂😂

i lost it when he put the 45 on the first tile and it was off a bit lmaooooo i feel better now ! mine is similar i don't know if its the wall or what , as I did not set the walls and they are off plumb. also.. which size back splash would allow you to connect from herringbone into a straight run ?
I'm doing a shower. 10' by 3 feet. I built my pan. I've got 60 hrs into just getting ready for tile. Thanks for the video. I can comprehend your instruction you did a nice job. I need to buy a case of tape lol
I think its a good honest video. Where he even reflects on where he could improve.
Thanks for watching! We are all human and don’t have everything figured out 👊🏼
Center shouldn't be on the tip of the tile, it should be half of the width. You would end up even that way

It's a shame the tiles are not even cuts at both ends. Unfortunately you set it out wrong
