@homey , please share your night time security flow. There is not enough security inspiration for homey out there. Could you make a security series? One that bridge users (no heimdall support) can use as well?

I could see you use the Danalock. I have that too but I can make the Auto Unlock work when I get close to my door.
I don’t have a hub or anything yet, but it should be able to unlock when I get close to the front door.
Did you do anything special or knows how to solve it?

I need to change the sound when i send a pushup message to my phone, how can i do this, i dont like the standard sound..:)
My favourite flow: make a text variable "log" and when testing a flow, fill that with info from within a flow, flow will show the info in a notification. Disabled that flow if testing is finished.
Your forums are full of people that can’t get presence to work reliable with your app, even with all settings correctly set in the app and on the device in general. You guys should really make it work your number 1 priority. It works OK on my iPhone now, but it has never worked on my wife’s Samsung phone. Support is of no help. 3rd party apps works though, but that is not the solution we want.
This kind of basic functionality failure is what I always check first everytime I consider upgrading from Google.
Google sucks too but at least it's free.
Too bad that the most basic stuff such as geofencing and turning on/off devices of a specific type doesn´t work that well on Homey. Have had issues since I got it a couple of years back and I am not alone when searching for solutions in forums. Workarounds are always needed such as using homekit triggering a virtual device in Homey for setting precence, turning devices off multiple times in the good night flow and adding delays for all actions. Love it anyway though :) Just wish basic stuff would always work so that I can rely on it.
Yours has worked a couple of years? My zigbee chip got burned after 1 month
Very cool but you should just have such things as templates that then takes the individual users device data so that flows are easier to setup, like templates that then replace the individual users device data

We are always looking for ways to improve our user experience, especially for first time 'smart homers', this could be a perfect step for that.

Hey Sebastian, Great idea! I will definitely take a look at creating a video like that. Just need to find a suitable KNX setup to use as 'show model'. Keep your eye out for that video in the coming few months. :)

How would it know who was the last person? I'm curious
Hey Desolateone, If you have invited your family members to your Homey, then we know each user's location, and when they are at home or not. Naturally, this can only be done if you give the Homey App access to your location on your smartphone.

Hey Arco, we use Geofencing, so make sure to allow this 'Location' function in the App settings on your phone. This needs to be active for each user / guest you have on Homey.
This doesn't always work, a more nerd way is having your dhcp server on your network give phones of your persons fixed ipadresses, and then SmartPresence can set users "in or out", no need for app on users devices.
Flow one would be nice if the geofencing works in the first place. Come on Athom, I've owned my Homey for a few years now and it has NEVER worked. It's pretty much step 1 of automation. I don't want to buy beacons, or install weird methodes via third party providers. Just make it work flawless for godsake

Works fine here also maybe your power usage on your phone is forbidden it. I know on android it checks once a time that apps are using power and if your phone is allowed to put them in some saving mode. Thes option you need to put off maybe also your radius for your location got be helping.
@@Niels1986111 homey never snoozes, I had 'customizable battery' on. Turned it off, will check if that does the trick.
Same issue aswell. Works on iphone not on a samsung
