How can I broadcast a Sonos talk command to multiple Symfonisk speakers? If I add each speaker in THEN in a flow then it will be played with short delay between each speaker. Homey pro and four symfonisk speakers and Sonos app.
Hey Marttin, unfortunately, I don't believe that we natively support that function. You could try to build 4 separate Flows with the same 'Then' triggers, one for each speaker, and see if that triggers on all 4 at the same time. PS. Let me know if that does help, if not, I'll ask internally if anyone knows a good alternative.
@@homey thank you for your reply. I tried what you suggested but the result seems to be the same as all in one flow. It would be great if you could check if there is a solution to this. In my case, broadcasting the message to multiple speakers is what I’m looking for.
Many of Sonos's features are only available due to their own extensive (awesome) API. You can check out the Heos App here, and refer to the Flow cards to see what the capabilities are of that system → homey.app/a/com.denon.heos/
Ik guess it will work with an Ikea Symfonisk speaker, too? I'm thinking of combining it with a Netatmo doorbell and turn on the Tradfri lights in the hall for 5 minutes. Do you think that's possible?
Hey Herald, that should all be possible! This video on Netatmo's doorbell should also help: ua-cam.com/video/eWCa_2UvELk/v-deo.html Quick tip for the Symfonisk speaker, you add this via the Sonos App on Homey just pair it as a 'Sonos One'. Have fun!
In the video I was using the LMLR-710 Nexa doorbell. With the Nexa App -homey.app/a/se.nexa/. You can follow this same concept with most smart doorbells where you can receive a 'doorbell is pressed' Flow card.
Hi Alex, thanks again for your video. I also like to use my Homey with Sonos. With me, the options are not there to play from Soundboard (installed and I have also music in it) or say something? Saw I also had version 6.0.9. Is it because I am running / using Sonos version 1? I can also cast a url of an mp3 file. Can you possibly show or let you know how to keep playing the same music again after casting the sound file? Please hear it so I can have even more fun with Homey! Keep up the good work! Peter
Hey Peter, some of these functions are only supported by the newer Sonos speakers, a quick way to see if they are the 'newer' version is if they have touch button controls. (older versions used push button controls). SONOS speakers with touch buttons should be able to use the 'say something' and SoundBoard app features.
@@homey Thanks for your answer. Then I have to do it with the function cast a url of an mp3 fil. Can you possibly show or let you know how to keep playing the same music again after casting the sound file? Thanks and keep up the good work!
I have one of these!😃 I hate it 😞 C O N S T A N T connection issues. Also, the mic sucks. You have to be very close to it, or screaming from across the room. It's nice looking, expensive garbage.
Thanks for this interesting video. It‘s great that homey supports Sonos so easy.
hi there, i just watch your video, is this work with homepod mini speaker ? I’m interested buying homey pro.
Nice videos but they are really simple. Maybe some more in-depth videos. For example how to get the correct time in homeyscript for my timezone

Does this work with the Sonos Arc ?
Hi, would this also works with Heos speakers?
