Hi Craig, it doesnt move much outside of the area that you directly apply it to, it's not very "liquid", if that makes sense, the dicor will smooth out on itself, by itself. I know that I just made that as clear as mud, if I could get to it to take a picture I would, right now I cant
dumb question, if you've bothered with all the work removing the dicor, would it be overkill to go the extra step of taking the vent/dome off and replacing the Butyl tape as well? Not on something big and heavy like the AC... just wondering.
The Dicor will self level so it shouldn't "bead" like a caulk would, I am on our roof often and it still looks great. I would say just as long as everything like the seams and screws are completely covered, you'll be good to go!
Is this a rubber roof? Im wondering what I can use to dissolve the remaining dicor that won't damage my TPO roof. I'm hesitant to use mineral spirits or alcohol because i dont want to damage the rubber. Thanks
How many carriages did it take and how long/how many extensions did you seal?? Help RV repair man charged me over 1200$ for six extensions/33ft RV. Said it took 27 tubes he removed the old . I thought he was going to do cap sealant. I'm 60yrs old single woman. I could have done that but the cap not. Need your tube count ang hours . Plz 😢
Hi Delaine, my apologizes for the delay, my notifications were going to an email that I forgot to sync in my inbox. Honestly I can't remember exactly how many tubes I used, I believe it was about 3 or 4 for what I did. I'm not sure what you mean by "extensions", so it's hard to say. If you are talking about things like skylights, antennas, etc. that seems like alot to me. If you're talking about slides, it doesn't.
I was hoping to see how the dicor self leveled. Thanks for the video

I would think as long as the dicor is good, you shouldn't have to mess with it and risk damaging or breaking something.
Doesn't lap sealant deteriorate some skylight plastics over time? I'd recommend something else like Surebond SB 140 for plastics.
Great question, our rig is a 2007 and has had it on since it was built so i would say it's ok.
I heard you should use a thick bead, lots of it. Is it still ok you use so little dicor?

What is the difference between the red/yellow colored Dicor tube from the green colored Dicor tube ?
I know the blue color is the clear Dicor
Thats a great question lol, I have no idea

Dawn Soap & Vinegar & Water solution is what I use , works well
No, we have a one piece fiberglass roof. I'm not sure what you can use, but your worry is very justified!
