A bunch of Nepalese entrepreneurs featured in the reality tv show Shark Tank came up with the idea to sell these as "organic dog food" in the USA and apparently they're making millions in profit!

The people in the Himalayas sure knew their sh**. The little piece u r carrying in your hand is equivalent to a large glass of Yak milk. (yak milk being 4 times richer and nutritious than cow's and 2 times as much of the same of Buffalo milk) all the fats, proteins and all the good stuff made into dry, light and easy to carry pieces...
through their long hard journeys over very harsh terrain, and treacherous conditions, they stayed strong and we'll nourished with these Churpies.

As you all know you shouldnt give much fat products to dogs but in the churpi/durkha that are made for dogs, the fats are first extracted then dried. You can consume those but those are tasteless while the one he is consuming isnt.

Chura is much better than candies n chewing gum, cause it stays in mouth for at least 20 min. If u want to have more Chura then try it there r 2 more kinds of Chura 1 is hard n little bit sweet in taste but, it’s not similar like rock hard cheese. The 2 one is so sweet in taste n it’s tasty 😋 also. U can not get these Churas in Indian shops u have to go in Tibetans shops n then ask for it. If u r eating Chura b careful with ur teeth.i can eat Chura so easily cause I do eat Chura so much cause I love them n i really love all the 3 kind of Churas, its so 😋yummy.

It has been ages since I had them. This is very common in Tibet and is used as candies or some are used in porridge. It has bitter taste like lemon though not very strong.
Tibetans call it Chura or Churpi. Most family who own Yak make it.
