Well there have been a couple of good changes in Cata Classic: namely rolling valor/conquest caps and opening up the number of Tol Barad dailies you can get every day. Both of these helped especially if you had more than one character you were playing on. I think the best solution is to just release Molten Front WITH the troll dungeons, and then make the items BoA. That way everyone has to do it but only once. That would help. They could go further and simply reduce the cost the quest requires of the special currency to open up more dailies (FFS there are three that require 150 EACH; you could knock that down to 50). They could allow you to do all the quests instead of having to choose each day. There are lots of ways to make it less grindy.

@@leonsoto8333 , I'm curious why that is... after all different people like different things for different reasons and that's OK. I like Cata dungeons/raids with real mechanics and some semblance of challenge in heroic raids. I love the class design and I think rotations were peak in Cata/MoP. The PvP is peak in Wrath/Cata/MoP IMO. I like the currency system and catch up mechanics. I like that it is the most alt friendly expansion in the history of the game with little upkeep... it works around my schedule and the rolling caps are a godsend. So what don't you like?
Blizz should drop it about 1-2 weeks after ZA/ZG. Good way to split up content. Plus that times nicely with my upcoming hols so I won't miss any dailys :D
Yeah, this phase 2 has a lot to offer for casual players but nothing for serious raiders. Im a serious raider but the current "timeline" is fine for me, i feel like most players will be 13/13 heroic at like, mid September, so October is a good month to release the new raid.
It won't be anything remotely close to "most players" being 13/13 when Firelands releases. I am fine with the accelerated release schedule just to be clear but that take is way off on what actual raiding looks like overall.

@@Farfarawai The logs disagree with you. I am on Atiesh which is a pretty big server all in all and only 6 out of 159 10man guilds that log (4%) are 13/13. And this does not even count guilds that haven't killed a heroic boss yet or don't log of which there are a good amount on the server also. The number in 25man is 5/74 (8% or so) again with the same caveat of not counting guilds that haven't killed heroic bosses or don't log. There is a skewed view of the actual raiding player base from people at the upper end of raiding who are in the distinct minority overall.

The easiest fix is just make it so the vendors are already unlocked when you open the last area. That makes it around 16 days of a grind, but when you finish opening all the areas, you are done and cuts off the massive vendor opening grind. Can drop Molten Front with Firelands and that's fine, imho
this would have implications on the content / length for the firelands patch, making that phase also a drag. then they would have to shorten that phase too, etc... so in essence you want cataclysm condensed even further
I've been wondering when more content is gonna come out. I love cata, but there is just not nearly as much content to do at max lvl as there is to do in MOP, that is of course because the devs had to spend A LOT of time to redesign all of the lvl 1-60 zones... This being said, I don't mind them rushing through Cata a bit faster... MOP will be different. There is A LOT more to do at max lvl compared to Cata.

Dont feel like nothing has to be more rushed than that.

Is there any point of capping it before the phase so we can buy the new valor gear (the firelands one ,not talking ZA/ZG i dont count that as a phase lol) ? :) Blizzard did not specify it like ever .Back in the original Cata from phase to phase they reseted the valor points but with the increased cadance/valor cap im not sure now . In og cata when ever a new raid tier came out they would turn all ur VP into JP and all JP above the cap (4k) turned to gold. SO say you have 3kVP, 3k JP you have 4k JP and 2k JP would be converted to gold
back when it came out i dropped maxed out engi on my toon whom had tons of chaos orbs and releveled BS before molten front hit then got the recipes, made a killing and swapped back to engi
honestly its a pretty easy fix even without dropping it with ZG/ZA just drop the requirements to progress by like 30% (not up the rewards, drop the requirements to GET the ability to spend), so you only need 2 weeks ish to get the vendors, not a month and drop it 2 weeks before the firelands raid opens, so for at least the first 2 weeks you arent doing the firelands raid bingo bongo, done
im in a pug run with my enh shamanevery week, we have all bosses down except for nef and sin atm and until we get these bosses I have to stick with the normal axes from nefarian, so these 365 weps would be amazing
gdkps are not pug runs. They're set up beforehand. Also if you're doing a pug run every week that doesn't really make it a pug run if its mostly the same people every week.
I like the idea, but it won’t happen unfortunately. They’d have to seperate the molten front from the firelands patch, which would be a large undertaking, which they straight up do not have the resources for.
They aren't releasing the elemental bonds questline until firelands raid release. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. They have the molten front early but not this chain. Make it make sense blizz.
It's quite ironic, one of the reasons phase 1 is dead right now and everyone's raid logging is because of the rep tabards practically ensuring everyone hits exalted in all the reps in a week and then in phase 2 they're gunna kill it off by making us all grind a month for 1 rep 😂 That's what I liked about WOTLK, you could ger all the reps done in a couple of weeks, the rep gain felt balanced and there was plenty of reps to do which kept us all engaged for longer. Blizzard need to release Molten Front with ZG and speed up that nonsense grind

how the hell can you get exalted in 5-6 days. you only get like 1650 worth of rep from the daily. maybe a little more doing the weekly quest to win tol barad. maybe if your spending the tokens on the rep bonus but then you wont be able to buy the exalted stuff?

Firelands cannot come out in October. That is way too far away. We need a September release! They also wont release the molten front with za and zg because they need it to be tested and it's not even on the ptr.
