What draws me back to your art, and to your teaching, again and again are the details, the marks, the stories, the colors. It is a smorgasbord of tiny experiences as the eye travels across each piece. Your joy in the process is what brings it all together. Thank you for sharing yourself so openly❣️

Hi Dawn! Just wanted to say that besides all the technique and tips, the biggest thing I’ve learned from watching your lives is to take time with my art. I love that it takes you about 20-30 minutes to warm up and start on the focus areas like the face. I never thought about warming up before. And so many times in your process I would have called it done. It’s so good to see how much more depth you get as it continues on. You are very generous with your time and knowledge and I appreciate you! Thank you for sharing with us! 🥰

I was so happy to pop in and out of the live... So much going on here. She turned out amazing!! That waterfall is so so cool. I imagined that with her melancholy expression, that river could quite easily connect with her tears... Isn't it fun we can each dream up something that speaks to us.. it's so individualized! I adore her, Dawn. Thank you for making this group accessible and fun. 💛🖤💛

It is a very different look when you use the soft pastels at the end, definitely more “painterly” like you say. Fun to be able to change things up.

I recently purchased Panpastels and was using Pastelmat, because it was highly recommended. I just struggled with that paper but after watching your videos I am currently trying UART 600 and it is such a nicer experience. Thank you.
