Hi Guys, I own a K3 winner table saw, and I also made my own top bar hives. My two hives have done very well, this is there first year. I like the top bar, because it is a more natural space for the bees to live in and they can more effectively deal with verroa mites when they set up there own building plan according to their needs. BTW, I love the table saw, I think a euro format sliding table saw is the best saw. Hello from Maryland, U.S.of A.

Great video, I have about 120 traditional hives with frames, but now I want to have this one. It is great to show this hive to my friends and family. Thank you

GREAT video. Sound is in Austrian. If you speak or understand Austrian that would be fine.
    But..............................
I got an email IN English that linked me to this video on UA-cam. Sadly, I can not understand one word that is said. CC is not good enough.
Why does Felder not still use one of their Greatest instructors ever; whose name is "Harry". Sorry, I can neither spell nor pronounce his last name. But he is awesome when it comes to narrating instructions on ALL of Felder products.
I had the pleasure of meeting this kind and professional person at last year's IWF in Atlanta, GA, USA.
In my 85 yrs I have never seen a better instructor ever! Please have him do the same for this video. Then you would get a LOT of sales of your Hammer products in America. I assure you!

Thank you for your interest in our new video project. I will gladly forward the compliment to Harry - he will certainly be very happy about it.
      This Video is in english.

Thanks so much Felder Group for changing the language to English in this video. I shall now re-download this video; that will join my other treasured Felder videos, particularly with "Harry".
My other wish is that one day you will change the definition on Frank Krauz's video to a higher definition; pitching the Felder "anniversary" 500. It is yet another fantastic video, but its fidelity is very poor. The sound is good and Frank is a world known instructor. And a true Gentlemen's Gentleman for sure. The video's poor "fidelity" degrades not only the Felder machine, but Frank also.
Incidentally; the 5 yr old video narrated by "Harry"; showing the Felder top of the line" multi" machine; where the woodworking craftsman (Seth) builds a walnut desk that is extremely intricate. Harry's narration throughout the video was awesome and I told him that last year in Atlanta. I have watched it many times. Enjoy it every time from start to finish. But the video is very poor. Please get the original video and re-do it. I am sure it will be much higher definition.
      Please consider this.
      Thanks again.

Once again a lovely project and very well put together production :)... Did I miss something but you said N3700 and not N3800 in the introduction. Another question...I have the 3800 and although it has a wheel to tension the blade it doesn't come with a screw in grip in the wheel where you tension it...although there is a space for it...if you know what I mean...Keep up the good work :)

I am enjoying this video. That riving knife deflector is something I've never seen before. Seems super smart. Seems easy enough to make. Is there a standard angle for those, or is it just an approximate thing?

Yes that device is great. I bought one for my table saw. It is awesome. It is available from Felder Group USA. They are wonderful to work with. I have bought a number of parts from them. They do not come cheap but they are first class. And many of their items are unique in the world of woodworking. Send for a free catalog.

Thanks Pat. Agreed they are great to work with, which is why I have a K700 and a Hammer A3-41 :D The folks in the Delaware showroom are excellent.
I have their big silver book around somewhere. I don't recall seeing that block, but I'll check again. Seems simple enough to make in any case.

      A tip:
If anyone purchase this diverter from Felder; and they try to use it on an American type of TS; the rear magnet will lie to the rear of the saw; making it unstable. But simply embedding a small, thin steel plate in the outfeed table solves the problem perfectly.
The problem stems from the fact that all of Felder's awesome sliding TS's have a much deeper table to the rear of the blade; than standard American type of TS's. I wish all American saws had this. But they don't. A pet-peeve of mine for many years. Note: the new Powermatic TS has a 2 inch (28" to 30") longer table top to the rear; but that is still not enough to support this very clever Felder, "cross-cut" diverter.
"Where there is a will, there is a way." Praise Jesus.
Felder is known for very innovative products that they sell in their parts catalog. I purchased a complete Felder "outrigger" table for my sliding saw "attachment". Works like a charm. Thanks Felder. I also purchased a number of other Felder parts; that would embellish any TS. Really!
One of these days (when my "rich" uncle gets out of the poor house), I am going to Austria; and visit this unprecedented manufacturer. I would be all eyes and ears and lovin' every second of it. Sadly I might drive an Austrian crazy with a thousand and one questions LOL. Oh well.
I do love Felder products. If'n "yuz" kin aford a "top-of-dah-line" machine, BUY Felder. They are the best in the world, over all. But of course if'n "yuz" caint aford one; wait 'til YOUR poor uncle gets out of the poor house! Whoopee!

As much as I love my Hammer C3, this is an Aigner product and can be purchased not just from Felder. You're also correct about making your own - very simple device but also not that expensive - about $40 from Simantech

Dear Felder staff, I live in Australia and my son had a problem with his table saw. The supplier is a well known European brand and I asked to be put through to their tech support. I couldn’t be connected but my details were taken to be passed on to tech support. That was over six months ago and I still haven’t had contact from their tech support, despite talking to the National Sales manager. As suggested I tried logging on to their client website detailing my problem on their web site. This went nowhere. I rang a couple of times as follow-up to my initial call but got nowhere. Tech support exists but try connecting with them.
By comparison with Felder, I looked up their Australian tech support number and to my great pleasure, I was answered by a tech support agent straight away. He explained that the general turn-around for spare parts is an overnight courier and I’d be done. Items out of stock are generally air-freighted from Europe within a week. Now that COVID-19 has impacted, these delivery times will have changed. Now that is how service should be delivered.
Nevertheless: Who will I buy my woodworking machinery from? why Felder of course.

I feel like I must be missing something. At least a dozen times in this video the operator allows a cutoff to be trapped between the moving blade and the fence...yet no kickbacks? And apparently he doesn't think it's a problem because he allows it to happen again and again. Is he just lucky? Is his fence out of parallel with the blade? (Farther from blade in back?) To me it looks like a total rookie operator but that doesn't seem like the case. What am I missing??!

It was NOT "nature" that provided "wood". That is blasphemy. Wood comes from a tree. Trees were created by Jesus. Just like people were. Whether you believe it or not.
Any that denies that is in a heap of trouble.
    Mark me words.
