i have a felder cf741 and a couple of hammer machines as well and to be honest there is very little difference between the two grades , the felder machines are a bit more robust but the results are very similar

Can it be made of a different type of wood tha thats not cedar. I know cedar is beautiful but also very expensive.
Of course you can, we chose the stone pine because of its effects.
You do some wonderful work... But unless the DIY title was an oversight, "not everyone has a sawmill in their garage, backyard or closet ;)

in case you didn't ask felder assume a price of around 15.000, these are some of the best machines around whish is reflected in the price.

The basic model 14000 euro's but assuming you want some options like a power feeder and spiral cutting blade 15 to 16000 euro's
There are many factors in building a table saw. One resource I discovered that succeeds in merging these is the Wilfs Wood Blueprint (google it if you're interested) without a doubt the no.1 plan that I've seen. look at all the interesting info .

@12:13, steel hammers are for driving nails, not abusing chisel handles. Get a wooden mallet.Very nice machine tho, perfect for a one man shop, I'd like to buy a couple of the Hammer machines someday. John
Who cares, it's a striking instrument hitting a metal chisel butt. Personally prefer a wood hammer due to less shock, but there's more than one way/preference.
The Craftsman is using a traditional German/Austrian cabinetmakers hammer. They have been in use for centuries.
"Scientific investigations have shown that pine helps to reduce your heart rate." Leave pseudo science out of this, you're ruining the mood.
They killed the mood right off the bat by using "DIY" in the title.
