Which makes sense on why he was pantsed and walking around humiliated while Bart and Milhouse sprayed ketchup and mustard on his face and laughing because those two were Nelson's prime targets
@@Unsubscribbled then if you watched classic Simpsons then you would know how nelsons childhood started and could actually start by telling me. But instead, got defensive and saying I couldn't give a damn. From what I'm getting from you is that because someone is bullying someone else, then its ok because they are in a bad place mentally. No. Just because someone is miserable doesn't mean everyone else around has to be miserable.
I like how even Mrs. Krabapel as well as Eddie & Lou are laughing at Nelson.
Oh yeah & 1 of his old cronies was too.
Also the guy from the try n save who works security......possibly laughing because he’s happy to see Nelson embarrassed since he stole a wheel barrel tire from his store.
Well Mrs. Krabappel has a similar laugh to that of Nelson. Except she only says "Ha!" Once while Nelson says it twice "Ha! Ha!"
Don't forget superintendent Chalmers he was in the crowd towards the end
I half expected to see another copy of Nelson in the crowd laughing at Nelson.
And superintendent Chalmers and lunch lady Doris
The way Ian (yes that's his name) opens the door, gets out of his car and walks towards Nelson at 0:16 is something straight out of a psychological horror game and I love it

Yes. It's called a tall man angrily getting out of a small vehicle. It's MEANT to be horrifying.

Tall man: *walking menacingly*

I actually met an 8 foot tall dude while waiting in line to get lunch at Hardee’s. And yes, he drove a classic VW bug. He was a good sport about it though, he had that bug since the 70s (this was 1990) and thought his choice of vehicle humorous as well.

I love how the street was totally empty when the tall guy got out of the car and went after Nelson, then not two minutes later everyone in town was out to watch his punishment. Word sure gets around fast in Springfield doesn't it? The absurd inconsistencies of animated shows never ceases to be hilarious.
its not funny once i wanted to steal and insult to make the guy they lowered my pants the shame i stayed 5 minutes in boxers like nelson
He forcibly marched him all the way to another part of town

The Simpsons even predicted the walk of shame in Game of Thrones. Incredible.
DUDE!!!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
At this point, the Simpsons' ability to predict literally everything has ceased to amaze me, amazing as it is. I just accept that the writers of the Simpsons are time travelers who enjoy messing with us while not actually changing the timeline.

The Simpsons during this period completely & single handedly raised the paradigm of what animated sitcoms should be. The writing was so good, I'm at a loss for words to describe it.

Thanks largely to Conan O Brian. Honestly when he left the show was about the time it started going downhill.
I would have liked to see Tall Guy in more episodes, and just have him exploit the flaws in other more well known characters. But I think his one time appearance (as far as I know) here is probably too golden to not stand on its own.
He appears in another episode as one of Itchy & Scratchy's animators. The in-joke is he's modelled after one the animators of the Simpsons. Now go forth with the power of this knowledge.
I feel like it might be Conan O’Brien
@@Elcore Indeed, this knowledge is power. Thank you, good person.
@@jaimelazcano9615 Given that this character looks nothing like Conan O'Brien and the Simpsons have done a specific Conan character, you should redirect your feelings into the things you know you excel at.
I believe he also appeared (briefly) in the episode where the Simpsons went to New York. He was on the train (or bus, can't remember which) they took to get to the city so Homer could get his car back.
But of course, that episode has been censored completely out of existence, because it had the Twin Towers in it, having been made before the 9/11 attacks. And for some reason, the people behind the Simpsons think we are incapable of being reminded that the Twin Towers actually existed. As such, they are willfully ignoring a pretty funny episode, as well as shelving one of the Tall Guy's only appearances.

When he just said "crud", I realized for the first time in my life, having watched Simpsons when it came on around 7 before jeopardy decades ago when I was a kid, that Nelson is voiced by the same person as Ralph Wiggum. The timing of that realization with this clip adds to the poetic justice of this scene and also shatters Nelson's tough guy facade forevermore in my eyes. He is just a scared boy.
