    Very surprised CNN brought Emily on to describe what she witnessed. I can feel the pain in her voice. Incredible respect for her. Restores my faith in Humanity. She is beyond brave and has so much compassion for humanity. May God Bless her, keep her safe if she goes back to Gaza and continue to give her the strength to speak the horrific truth of what many are still in denial of.

      The American people can have all the compassion in the world but it means nothing to 99% of us elected officials. I would say 100% after all not One senator or congressman in the US would be in their Job without the money from AIPAC, Anyone who says anything against Israel loses their funding and AIPAC makes sure the person running against them gets more funding to ensure the results go the way they want. All that means is Israel runs the US government so forget all this America first nonsense it's Israel first, did you see the debate the other night they were more passionate about Israel than they were about the US.

      @@nataliross7444 Why shouldn't he choose to live somewhere free of violent Israeli oppression? Palestinians aren't sent to 'battle'. Most of them are just trying to live their lives in the shadow of a brutal apartheid. If half the population are children and more are under the age of 30, how did they vote in elections which saw 46% elect the Israeli-backed (and funded) Hamas? What Hamas did was awful though not the precise awful you're being told - the burned bodies and partial remains are a result of IDF shelling, which they (IDF) confirmed - they murdered a bunch of hostages to get the Hamas terrorists. They (IDF) also shot innocent Israeli's as they tried to flee, as confirmed by survivors. Which makes you wonder - why weren't Hamas' terrible actions deemed bad enough by the Israel propaganda machine that they needed to attribute their own crimes to Hamas? The truth is, and god help those poor families, that the Israeli government don't give a shit about the hostages and never did. They're cannon fodder and an excuse for 'Bibi's' bloodthirsty, right wing government.

Not only because of the horrific atrocities she witnessed and experienced in Gaza, but also by the sheer strength and bravery she saw in the National Staff of Palestinians. They went out of their way to help Emily's team leave, putting them above all else, making that their first priority amongst the chaos. The Palestinians kept them alive. • @Tiger-zv6mf
      @Tiger-zv6mf 7 місяців тому

      It's not your tax dollars, the us stole the Middle East.
      The actual reasons for killing Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gaddafi were, in short none but OIL and MONEY. The series of events that led to fall of the regimes in both cases were slowly controlled by CIA / NATO upon being backed by US government's decisions. US government always fears two things the most - ' fall of dollar ' and ' loss of control over oil in the Arab world '.
      1. Take for example the case of Saddam Hussein, who was hired by the CIA way back in 1958 to overthrow Gen Abdul Qasim . Finally Gen Qasim was killed in a coup organized by Saddam in 1963. Saddam was a great dictator , and was aware of the international situations, so he nationalized the Oil industry and Banks during the seventies. He was ahead with nuclear warfare programmes, and his inclination towards USSR was visible. So CIA wanted to dethrone him from and started funding Kurdish rebels from the mid-nineties. Saddam called Dollar a 'currency of the enemy', and wanted all oil payments to be made in Euros only. This was the point of fear, when dollar could have slipped down against the Euro, launched at par with the dollar in Jan 1999. Soon after the 9/11 , US government in collusion with CIA and the Pentagon decided to strike with a double edged sword, i.e. killing Saddam and capturing the Iraq oil for the next decade. So on 30 th Dec 2006 he was hanged after a trial to relieve the US government of so many pressures.
      2. The same story applies to Gaddafi who made Libya's ambitious 'gold backed currency' plan. It was worrisome for the US that Libya's Central Bank was hundred percent State owned and had 144 tons of gold in the vaults. Gaddafi could have forced US & Europe to buy Libyan oil & minerals in gold backed currency tipping the scales against dollar. Petrol price within Libya was $ 0.14 per litre, and Libya had no external debts and its reserves amounted to $ 150 billions. The Federal lords were much more worried than the CIA head, so on 20 th Oct 2011 , Gaddafi was killed by the rebel groups , as planned by the Money lords holding high the flag of US dollar.
      The whole game was so designed that nothing could be averted short of the killings of the two dictators who went against US money and tried to shift the focus to oil consuming economies in Asia and Europe at a low price. Oil MNCs of the US, otherwise would have sent their own forces to finish the leaders.

Why this Jewish state was not built in the US of America ? As of the 1930s, the Jewish population in the United States was estimated to be around 4.2 million. Meanwhile the Jewish population in British Mandate Palestine experienced significant growth due to Jewish immigration from Europe. According to historical estimates, by the late 1930s, there were approximately 400,000 to 450,000 Jews living in British Mandate Palestine. This demographic shift played a significant role in the development of the region's demographics and ultimately had an impact on the political dynamics that led to the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948. When majority of the Jews were in USA why not give them a state there its simple 4,200,000 in USA vs 400,000 in Palestine. In simple words "Why was the State of Israel not established in the United States, where the Jewish population was much larger than in British Mandate Palestine during the 1930s?" It's strange how many of the comments here focus mostly on what 'a hero' she is and I do not disagree that she is great but the true heroes are those left behind. The level of self-sacrifice, heroism, resilience, compassion they demonstrate every single second... including to give her food as they starved and to secure her departure , is just out of this world. They are the true heroes and saints walking amongst us. And yet they will never be interviewed on CNN. Their voices will never be heard.

      It’s so ironic isn’t it? The Gazans are invisible to so many even as they listen to her narration about THEM and their unconditional love and sacrifice. Alas, this is the world we live in. And this is the plight of Gaza. My heart bleeds for Gaza.

      I agree. She is a hero because she was part of it. Gazan people are heroes who deserve freedom and deserve to live safely.

      The positive aspect I suppose is that hopefully many in Western countries will see a white, blonde woman and empathise with her and try to stop what is happening. But I agree with you completely and it is this state of affairs that led to the problem to begin with.

      Heroes can occupy different places. That said, overused term.
