Lois, Thanks so much for watching. I have uploaded a new video, where I go over how I prepared the treat bag. :) ua-cam.com/video/s8PYKTFeWMA/v-deo.html
Hi I'm new to your channel and I absolutely love your video/tutorial. Your bookmark is beautiful and you are very clear with "how-to" make it. I love that! I will be subbing and watching you again and again!😀
Thanks so much for watching! I just recorded the process of a new shaker bookmark and hope to post it later this week. The new one is a little different. I hope you will stop back by to check it out.
Yes, I did go through all of those layers. It took time and patience. :) I did have one of mine pop open eventually, but others stayed just fine. Thanks for watching.
I used an old Quickutz alphabet set I have. I believe it is called Maryjane. Here is a link to a set being sold on eBay (no relation to seller or experience with them - just wanted you to see the set): goo.gl/VkCQ8a Thanks for watching!
It is a special tool called a fuse tool for sealing things like page protectors. You can get them branded by We R Memory Keepers and Becky Higgins. If you like in the U.S. you can find them at most "big box" craft stores and should be able to use a computer to save some $. :) Thanks for watching!
Where do you get the mulit containers of sequins. Can you measure the Letter B for me the alaphabets I brought from Ebay are so big they just fit in the book mark they are so Big. Lol
Next time I am in my craft room (hopefully this weekend) I will measure that B. As for the sequins, here is a video where I share my sequin storage solution: ua-cam.com/video/kaU4tv4cH1Q/v-deo.html
I believe it is Memory Box "Classic Alpha Upper". that is one of my favorites - I use it all the time. definitely worth the investment. www.memoryboxco.com/98361-Classic-Upper-Alphabet-craft-dies_p_130.html
gail gaardner if you are looking for a manual die cutter, I would probably go with the Big Shot. I currently have a Cuttlebug that is almost 12 years old and I LOVE it, but I do think the newer versions don’t work as well. My sister has a newer Cuttlebug and a Big Shot and I like her Big Shot better.
Karen, Most of my sequins are from major craft stores or the $ Tree. :) I did buy a "lot" of small ones on Amazon. I think I got like 16 baggies of different colors.
Jennifer, I can use dies from a wide variety of manufacturers. It comes with plates to accommodate different thicknesses of dies. It wouldn't do the commercial Accucut dies, but can do Sizzix bigz. I did discover it isn't wide enough to do some of the embossing folders from stampin' up - those are 6" wide, which I guess does fit on the Big Shot die cutter.
I had some do that as well. I started adding a piece of lightweight cardstock to the inside. The bag won't seal shut and you can pull out the cardstock when you cut the bag open. Hope that helps.
Wow! That bookmarks so beautiful.
Thank you :)

Thanks for sharing! Great video! Quick question, do you laminate on the 3m or 5m setting on the laminator? Thanks!
+Kristen Swiderski so glad you enjoyed my video. I am pretty sure I used the 3 mil setting. :)
awesome! thank you :)
I cannot seem to get my fuse tool to fuse through the bag and laminating sheet. Any tips?
Raven Starh let the fuse tool heat up well (20-30 mins), go slowly across the end and repeat lots of times. It takes some time.
you're welcome, quick question, what die is the hearts one?
The hearts are from a Spellbinders nesting hearts die set.

Could you recommend a die machine. I want to get one but I’m new to crafting.

Here is the lot I bought from Amazon: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00T5V3RUU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

What is the cutting tool you are using called
jennifer h are you referring to the die cutter that I cut my letters out with? If so, that is a 'vintage' Cuttlebug. :)
Ok thanks I need to get one .. can you use any die cutting with it

I laminated mine and now the bag won't open 😢 I'm so confused
