London Zoo Annual Stocktake 2024

We’re home to more than 300 different species, from the rarest subspecies of tiger to the only Chinese giant salamanders in the UK.
By working closely with some of the most endangered animals on earth, we’re able to be a hub for global ZSL wildlife conservation and advance scientific understanding of every species.
Our data from the annual stocktake will be shared via a global database with other conservation zoos around the world, which helps us to manage the crucial breeding programmes for these species.
