- London Zoo has welcomed three lion cubs from an endangered subspecies.
The litter - who are yet to be named - arrived on March 13 and were born to parents seven-year-old mother Arya and 14-year-old father Bhanu.
Arya and Bhanu are kept at London Zoo as part of its international conservation breeding programme, which includes protecting an important back-up population of the big cats.

It's a real shame we have to resort to zoos to visit Earth's magnificent creatures.
That look on the mothers face says, " life was so much better before this when I could sleep in peace all day long".
Asiatic lions were only found in India, how TF they did reach in London.
Born into a life in prison sentance...
in zoo they live 2-3 times longer, and they are getting good meat regularly
HEY! THEY WILL BE PROTECTED
